Been wondering if its a good or bad idea. Interested in using sets like pariah to synergise with undeath.

It depends what your playstyle and build is for, to really know whether it is worth it for you to do.

its not, you just get completely demolished by dawnbreakers and fire damage, definitly not worth the 10% mag/stam regen.

I've been vamp most of the time, but tried it out a bit without vamp during the last months.

10% more mag/stam regeneration won't make or break a build, but are worth the loss in health regeneration if you don't build for that stat.

In my experience, the Undead passive roughly cancels out with the increased fire damage taken, on average. There will be encounters where you feel incredible tanky, and other times where you drop dead by a couple of flame lashes.

    Overall, it feels balanced.

I say yes and agree with Bergzorn. The passive when you're stage 3 mitigates damage and makes up for the weakness against fire. Sure once in a while it will come into play but even dawn breaker, the most I get hit with it has been around 6500 (each tick), and that was extreme. I usually get hit with it at around 4,000 damage or less. The magic regen is a huge plus also. I usually roll with stage 3 because I don't care about the Dark Stalker passive and you don't get hit as hard with fire vs. if you were stage 4.

Here's the passive Bergzorn and I am talking about:

While you have Vampirism stage 3 or higher:
•Reduces damage dealt to you when you fall below 50% Health.
•Reduces your damage taken by up to 33% based on your missing Health
