Possible solution to faction imbalance
I have a an idea for helping with faction imbalance and yes it invest locking in your choice for the whole campaign
Once chosen all characters are locked into that faction. For the duration of the campaign ...
However choosing rogue means the game auto adds you to the side that needs players ...
You get double AP gains for killing g and doing objectives that help the faction your playing for , but you also can only use rogue branded seige so unable to steal and move others siege and only heals from other rogues heal you ... This way all your friends can go together you always get to play together and you can't *** off players wanting to keep the campaigns fair
