There is a really simple reason for this and its right in front of everyone’s faces. They want you to log in every day
Yes hated that, had an inventory horse and a speed horse for pvp and it was super frustrating then i forgot to switch.G1Countdown wrote: »Actually its been this way since before the crown store was a thing. It used to be way more tough. Imagine leveling each mount individually.
The way they have it now is much improved.
When The game launched different horses were stronger and had different perks; some were faster, some carried more, some had better stamina. I don’t see why we can’t go back to that and train the horses individually versus each character individually.
I still argue that the saner choice is each *mount* is trained account-wide.
Example: I own the Christmas horse and the Psijic horse. I spend the next month upgrading speed on the Christmas horse. The Christmas horse now has 30 speed for EVERY character but the Psijic horse does not.

if I could level one mount and use it on all my characters i would way rather have that.

you know I will never understand people who think waiting is rewarding.

I do not think waiting is rewarding and I have 18 characters with max level mounts. I do fully understand the horse training system will not be changing and the reasons are rather obvious. We can instant train our mounts with what is available from the crown store.

lol...and you really think that? ...content...daily prizes...enjoyable things are what make people log in everyday...they do this to make money by overcharging riding lessons in the overpriced crown store...that is why they do it...lets just say you have 12 characters...that takes at least 20 minutes if you want to spend the time to train all 12 characters in riding...you think that type of thing is what people like and they keep coming back to? That is what makes people play this game? You think that is what ZOS wants is for people to log in and train riding? Ok...you sure do have things figured out.

You obviously didn’t play before crown store or daily rewards.... or you’re just not smart

I dunno OP, I guess this game is meant to be a long term commitment and several things take time to master, even the simplest most skill-less action of feeding a horse. They want ya to log in every day or as often as possible!

that would be why they added DAILY LOGIN rewards and before that various daily quests.
horse leveling? has NOTHING to do with long term commitment and everything to do with selling riding lessons in crown store.

Except that the horse leveling came before all that.

Because any chance of improving on the base game inconveniences - and there are many - disappeared when they started monetizing relief from inconvenience.
6 months per account would still be overly lengthy. 6 months per character is insane.
