Well, I have reached the end of my tether with customer support.
Various tickets about not recieving the free villa have basically ended with them saying it's there in my collections. I must be blind as it most definately is not. I have had a couple of issues with support recently and not any real help has been recieved. Treated very poorly. I am on the verge of giving up this game for good due to the lack of any sensible outcomes to calls for help.
Great game, very, very poor support.

This is not the housing tab of the map, but within the collections themselves.
I am not doubting you but providing the SS might help us help you and make something of this thread.

✭also, in my case, i have no map marker of this house on the map. Some guy show me where the house is. You need to go there directly. It's in Psijic College, from entrance take right, then go upstairs next door. In next room there will be portal to the house. 1) Do you have the summerset add on? or have eso plus BEFORE the competition started?
2) have you checked under collections >notable homes? - screenshotting it here would help
3) did you do the summerset pathfinder achievement? technically this wasnt needed, but it could be a bug - if you did, screenshot it when you got it
4) do you have the new mounts? collections > mounts (again screenshot)
5) When did you join? are you a new player?
6) posting your platform / server would help ZOS. i can see gina has already been tagged so i wont tag her again but i assume the team will need this.

You didn't need ESO+. I haven't got ESO+, but did get the rewards because i do own Summerset and logged in.٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

Well it didnt give notifications that it was there when zos sent it. Not the house, mount, or the pet. No normal notification that your collections had been updated... Also I couldnt see it on the map until i went into collections, went to notable homes, and found the house. Then once i traveled to it i owned it...
Some people might not be as familiar as we are with the game, housing, or the menu system, so it might not just be that they're blind..

huh. i didn't, I went straight for the house. although.. its possible it worked for me, becasue I previewed it before, so it was discovered already.
in that case - physically going to Artaeum is another way of gaining acess, in case collections issue is a visual bug.dirty worthless casual.

I had to physically go to the house by going into the Psijiic College, then up the stairs to the right after you enter, to go through the portal to manually get to the house. After that, the house started showing up on my map.

Regarding this topic I had poor service experiences prior as I purchased Summerset twice at this point where both never unlocked the actual content.
Luckily support eventually resolved my access so I’d qualify (on PC) even tho I was denied what I actually paid for (another issue entirely)
All that to say support does whatever it is they want and give us a positive or poor experience depending upon whatever they want to do at the time.
At best support is “consistently inconsistent” in providing incoherent responses that often don’t relate to our issues.
It’s obvious they operate under metrics that are purposeful for them to grab new tickets very often but aren’t penalized if their actions create multiple interactions.
It seems they are rewarded for moving items around vs solving. As such the forums has become a support help me or complaint forum vs game discussions.
Not sure that anyone who controls this even cares as the experiences have gotten worse since PC closed beta til now.
Even the system itself describes to take an impossible action to report access issues with a chapter (saying to go into the menu and select the item and open a ticket that way...chapters don’t allow those actions)
I will use this quote to give my experience on Xbox one.
While it ended up being unlocked I could not see it nor travel to it on the game map.
The work around was to have a guild mate travel to their own home...then I had to travel to them...get the alert that I didn’t have privaledges to enter their home....which unlocked the home and made it appear on the map after the failed attempt.

I think how this works is too different from the normal experience of unlocking a home. Perhaps a FAQ is need if a game change can’t occur.

cbuk✭✭I had a no show with my villa because the patch failed to download. I thought it strange I could go into the game straight away with no launcher update. I did a repair install and it forced the download and all's good.
