Why would you save tickets? Spend them on the Indrik (don't miss it) and then collect again when new mounts/items are available.

They're "Event Tickets", not "Indrik Tickets". Once the Indriks have had their day as an event reward there is bound to be something else to buy with these Event Tickets during events in years to come.

Don't worry, if new items come, I'm pretty sure you will be able to get more new tickets.

We'll only be able to save a maximum of 12 tickets at a time, so you pretty much have to spend them on indrik feathers if you want to get more tickets after that. Or just get the initial 12 tickets and don't spend them at all in the hope of being able to spend them on something else in the future, but you might be waiting a year for something other than an indrik to be offered.

As a new player who has never done the Witches or New Life Festivals before, doesn’t own CWC at all yet, has little interest to go to dungeons and on top of all that the hours put into going to classes and doing homework every day, I’d say yes, this will be a grind for me.

If I’m lucky, I’m on for 1-2 hours at most a day but it’s mostly to steal items from Summerset to get gold.

People will be farming these things.
You will EASILY be carried along.

Call it whatever you want, but logging in, spending 3 minutes avoiding area attacks while 50 other people kill the boss, looting your event ticket, and logging out after less than 5 minutes of game time... is definitely NOT grinding.

People have been asking for earnable mounts for years. Now that is happening, and still there are complaints!

Personally, I'm really pleased I can earn an Indrik and it's not just stuffed into a crate as a radiant apex. I dreaded that happening as I don't buy crates.

For some people, doing ANYTHING in the game that requires more than 10 minutes of dedication can be a grind for them. Forget about them, as nothing is going to please them. For the rest of the player base, this will be some fun benefits for activities that we already do. You don't want the feathers for Witches Festival? Well then at least do it for the Motiffs and sell them if you really don't want them. Either way, let's not complain about the ability to earn free items and not through crown crates.

Good thing it takes far less than an hour to get your daily ticket(s) for each of those events. The one that takes the longest is doing a dungeon, and for a non-vet dungeon you can expect that to take 15-30 minutes (longer if you're queuing for it in the group finder as a DPS and you take into account the queue time, but during the event the queue time should be much lower than normal anyway).

It's also a good thing that you don't need to get your ticket(s) every day during every event to get enough for all of the feathers. And it's also a good thing that they've set it up so that you can skip an entire event and still get enough tickets (without having to get tickets every day during all of the other events) to get enough for all of the feathers.
