You can CC break it and get 6 seconds immunity to CC. Was told you in the Tutorial.
No you can't. In an ideal world, yes. The reality is though, that doesn't work most of the time. I have been CCed over and over and over by talons, rune cage, and Gripping Shards, unable to move until the CC party resulted in my death, even in spite of Unstoppable pots and a full stam bar.

Case in point what kills you the most, meant to add more (goofed up my bad : P ) but just describe what kills you the most or attributes the most to what gets you killed.

The CC/stun crap is usually what kills me. The classic CC and pile on tactic that pretty much dominates every MMO PvP system I've seen. Which is one of the reasons I was excited when this game first came out, since it had reliable CC immunity from immovable (or maybe it was unstoppable, I can't remember) and I thought I was actually going to get to move around and play my character. But like most cool things, didn't take them long to nerf it.
I'll never understand this fascination with killing players who can't move, or why developers (and many players) think it's such awesome game play.
In any other MMO, CC is used as a defensive measure.
You throw a CC on someone, and it prevents them from fighting. And if damage is done to that person, it breaks the CC.
Sheep (the cc spell used by mages in WoW) is a great example of this. The player is out of the fight for a timed duration, but if hit, it cancels the CC.
ESO is the only game I know of that uses this for offensive purpose. Even that wouldn't be such a bad thing if break free and cc immunity actually worked, instead of mashing break free repeatedly before half your health (or more) is gone and you get jumped by the rest of the opposite team.
With passive dodge gone, battlegrounds are going to be CC nightmare, even more so than now. Immovable potions only get you so far..
Opponent is better then me or i get outnumbered and cant handle it. Its this simple.
Why are these polls never have an option that the other player is just better. Always assuming brocken sets/poisons/lags or exploits. Lol. The typical gamer excuse. "Wasnt my fault!!"

that's definitely why i die every time. there's no way around it, no doubt about it.
but after about 20 months of trying my best to learn about PvP, i've at least learned to identify the thing that most often gets me. yeah, if you didn't show up with carry-over skills or inborn talent, you might spend the first 18 months in PvP getting wrecked so fast you can't even figure out what hit you, but after trying really hard for a long time you might be able to get a little bit specific about your weaknesses.
i'm still too often surprised getting hit more than i expected by more people than i thought would be hitting me, and after spending a while tuning my configuration and sets of responses for my survivability and that of my teammates, i'm now sure that my magplar only dies when his magicka drains faster than i'm using his skills.
that must be from poisons, right? please someone correct me if i'm wrong.
(i'm also still too dumb to use poisons myself. no point in correcting me there; i already know i'm wrong there.)
