How about a choice of start place for a new character?

I started with Morrowind and now have Summerset. Now all my new characters start in Summerset. They'll never start in Morrowind again and I've never had a character just start at the main quest.

Could this be an option? A simple selection on the character creation screen, "Where do you want to start?", depending on what chapters you have.

I know I only have to travel to the place I really want to be but I'd like to be able to go through the Morrowind starter quest again, or just jump straight in to the main quest, or whatever came before Morrowind, without managing to level up several levels just by discovering places on the way.

Just go back and start where you want. I just started an Orc mag DK in Orsinium.

I would love to have this personally. I always play through in release order and it's a little annoying to have to run to the correct zone, start the main story etc.

I agree. I'd love to be able to pick which intro we get when creating the character. If necessary they could make it an option that only comes up alongside 'skip tutorial' when you've already played it once.

I know it seems like a small thing but if the only way for a characters story to make sense is to ignore part of the game they've completed it bothers me.

Tbh my main is doing Summerset at the moment alongside the main quest. I'll be months before I get around to doing Morrowind with him. However if I had the option I could start the next character there and do it all the other way around. As it is any new character I start will just get side tracked by Summerset and the Psijics and all the magic and sunsets

I have done so many characters through the game that I don't even bother starting new characters in the faction areas. I don't do the main quest. There is no need to. I do catch the mages and fighters guild for their persuade and intimidate but don't use much else. I have one character who is almost completely through gold and it has become a chore to complete it because I've done it all before, over and over and over again. I do go back and do all the delves and collect the skyshards but I don't see a need to start new characters in factions where I space bar through every quest.

This should coincide with the main title screen too, I love the original TES4-esque intro, Morrowinds was pretty epic too

So basically wanting to choose which Chapter to set as the primary for my account

I just use a wayshine after starting a new character, instead of talking to Razum-dar, and I can start in my one area. If you have homes you can start in those areas as well, free Inn helps. I got tired of starting in Summerset.
