Mhmmm, maybe living in a warehouse isn't so bad after all ...

My primary residence is whichever house on one account I want characters on my other account to be able to port to. As both accounts hold the Psijic Villa there would be no point in making it the primary residence on either account. I'd much prefer it, of course, if my characters on one account could port to all the houses on my other account!

Daggerfall Overlook is my primary. It’s set up with all my crafting stations which is primary so my friends can use. Linchal Manor is where I spend all my time. I’ll decorate The villa eventually. Heck I even decorated my apartments and Mournoth Keep Lol. My thinking is there’s so many luxury and achievement furnishings that one house isn’t enough anyway.

At the moment my primary residence is Mournoth Keep, because it's my favourite and most decorated (although no where near finished). At some point after I get it I might change that to the Alinor Townhouse since that's where my crafter will live and it'll have stuff which might actually be useful to other players.

The Psijic Villa is a dumping ground for furnishings I don't have a use for yet but don't want to get rid of completing, not something that would be of interest to anyone else.

You don't get a notification, it's just added to your collections menu. Same with the pet and mount.

Its beautiful and I'm glad to have it, but the the housing item limit gimps creativity and this problem is magnified in large homes such as this. I consider house decorating as a project in artistic creativity (I don't decorate my homes in a traditional manner). This Villa is so large, that I would not be able to fully decorate either the interior or exterior given the current item limits, so there is no reason to designate it as my primary residence.

sort of. There are two suites downstairs so i will probably move into one of them. I will still keep my cyrodilic holiday home though for sentimental reasons. The villa is a bit too much like a B&B for my taste.

Nope. I like my little Cyrodiilic Jungle House too much. I used the entire 200 item limit to make it into a lush little getaway with a beautiful garden and a cozy interior and I have no intention of moving out now.
Especially not for a house with broken pillars and too much room to ever truly fill.

I wish the basic crafting stations would duplicate for all the homes you own (like storage chests or trophies). I don't want to break up my current primary residence and I don't want to buy a second set.

Maybe a dumb reason, but that's why I can only really focus on one house at a time.

I haven't even started to plan decorating the villa yet. Mournoth is my primary now and will continue to be.

No. I haven't decorated it yet because my other house I posted about took my housing money and mats. So it will be my primary for the forseeable future. When I get it nice, I may change it. It depends on how I feel about my decorating, tbh. I want my house to make me smile.

Probably not. I have a house already I like a lot, and spending extra money on this game isn't something I'm willing to do anymore. I'll probably furnish whatever corner I like best though. It's beautiful. (Artaeum!)

sleek creek is my primary and always will be.

The villa though would make an excellent warehouse for all my extra furniture that I haven't placed yet.
Big enough to make nice sections of furniture...a flower section, a table section, a chair section, etc.
Then when I go to furnish a home I can go shopping in my villa first !

You probably already have it. You need to go to Artaeum and find your way to the portal that leads to it, if you have not already done that.

If the Princely Dawnlight Palace wasn't a thing, then yes. But for what I'm looking for from an in-game house, it blows the Psijic house away. It's way more functional in terms of space and I much prefer the desert aesthetic (Hew's Bane is my favourite zone). I don't think any house will be replacing this as my primary any time soon.

I'm also not thrilled with the disjointed aesthetic inside the Psijic house. You've got the throne room with the big windows and the upscale Alinor style, then you've got the basement in the ancient Aldmeri style (with no windows), and then you've got the two random rooms at the back that use the Alinor townhouse style (also with no windows). It just doesn't fit together.

Really cool house overall, but won't be my primary.

I'd have preferred to play bosmer except I play casters and their racial stats are for stamina. There's no bosmer manor. Bosmer houses have dead animal everywhere. And their little blue flowers are on the accursed luxury vendor. So I switched to altmer.

Now I have the ultimate altmer magic-user house. It has a lovely ocean pool, several ponds, a waterfall, and a sizable dwelling.

So yes, primary residence and possibly the only one I ever bother to take seriously.
