We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

With Murkmire, will new characters have to start in that area instead of Summerset?

Curious - I have a couple more slots I want to buy, but don't particularly want to start in Black Marsh.... So if the answer is yes, I'll buy the slots and make the girls now.

    New start locations have only occurred with new chapters so far. So I would think not.

    No, it just DLC so you'll have to put up with the cave until at least March/April next year

    Oh, good. I'm SO not interested in the new area - well, I'm not interested in the whole Shadowfen etc. area as it happens. I'm perfectly happy to skip the tutorial, and go from Shimmerene to Alinor, then to wherever I really want to start a girl.

    Seconded.

    If necessary they could make it an option which unlocks after you've already done the latest tutorial once, like they did for the skip tutorial option. But it would be a vast improvement over being forced into whatever area ZOS currently wants to market to people who already have it.

    Yes, please. I loved the Morrowind tutorial, and can't stand the Summerset one.

    So much love for the Morrowind tutorial. I'm sad everytime I create a new character and go through the Summerset one.

    This would be great. However it may throw off a new player which would be the main reason it would be left out.
