They are in every freaking new content now, 30 days of doing the same thing over and over and over in every DLC, chapter and now even prologues....

    Enough ffs.

They are even now sometime the only way to complete achievements or get a specific motif etc....the only way besides buying them right out.

Why do we need dailies x 100 to do.....it's getting way over the top used too much and it's such lazy designed content.

They exist for player retention. Their design is intended to keep players playing. The same reason daily log in rewards exist. If you don't like them, don't do them. If you feel you have to do them then you are the demographic targeted by them.

They exist because they work. Complaining about them won't remove them. People as a majority would have to prove they are ineffective. But that would be a lie since they clearly work.

Best solution to the boring and repetitive quests is to not go to the quest giver and take the quests. I believe they are highlighted with a cyan icon above their heads.

We should probably add this to some kind of FAQ. I didn’t know it was an issue for people to figure out, but I guess I’m just jaded from having experience.

This seems to be the logical approach.

The achievements tied to these are fairly limited and again, if you are not enjoying it do not do it. That achievement is pretty meaningless.

Ok then. I worked this out early and don't do quests.

Some folks do for some reason. I’ve never understood that. I remember when achievements first came out on xbox and I had some serious WTF moments. Achievements? For a video game? Seriously? What, is this something I can put on my resume? :D

My only gripe with the dailies is that you need to compete with other players to get quest items :/

Except that's not a valid counterpoint to his argument.

By insisting that he not participate, you aren't addressing his concern - you're outright ignoring it.

A valid concern deserves more discussion than just "don't do it".

I love how people are defending zos by saying "don't play the content"....

You realize how ridiculous that argument is? Might as well say no one play the game or pay zos their wages...

    Fair argument.

But I feel like there is a difference in not doing it and then obsessing over it and doing 100's of them for some title. Anything would get old after doing it 100 times, daily quest or not.

So the real problem here sounds more like this achievement people are obsessing over. Every new zone I can think of has always come with a it's own set of daily quests you can do. That's hardly new to ESO.

I finally did the Murkmire dailies and while they weren't the most exciting, they weren't that bad either. There was a ton of running around, and the other players I had to deal with were a bit annoying... At least it gave me something to do for a bit. I also want to get the pieces for the new pet, too. :)
