    And listen to another DD whine about how slow my tank is in a dungeon?

    No thanks.

    Do keep in mind that your PVP nerf impacts PVE as well.

    If it was a minor debuff, I'd be for it... for the sake of PvP.

    BUT, in PvE, there are situations where movement speed is already getting teams/tanks killed. Hardly anyone uses the Ironblood set, and this is the main reason. And Ironblood is a perfect indicator of how ZOS would handle such a change -- poorly, and with little insight into how it would hurt the people who were not the target of the "nerf".

    Yeah nah. Blanket nerfs are *** and will hurt already slow builds with no immunity more. They really don't need to be slower

    Make snares/roots be weaker. (10/30%) Make snares rarer. Warmth to 10%, actives to 30% 4s immunity on any removed roots (any way) Ta daaa fixed. Builds without some method of removal snared less.

    Remove immunity. Keep removal. Add reduction. Something like 25% for FM/wings, 50% for shuffle. Med will be snared a max of 20%, heavy 30%. And only with both major/minor snares on. These reductions stack. Players can build for speed if they want, but its easier for medium and no constant passive immunity.

    Revert whatever trash speed nerfs they are implementing this patch.

    No. Instead, let's nerf damage in general to make people feel less compelled to be in HA despite HA also get reduced to shredded paper.

    So if heavy armor gets a speed debuff (which is a bad idea), what similar debuffs should light armor and medium armor get?

    This.

    I do not wear 5 PC HA in PvP and see this as a poor idea. Even with how out of touch Zos clearly is I seriously doubt they are this far out there.

    I mean, that's pretty much already the case in PvP god forbid you let your shield down for half a second.

    Would only make sense in PVP, where I would agree. Could be added to battlespirit or into the passives of HA (only activating in PVP environments).

    Buts seeing the way ZOS is buffing HA for PVP, they will never go that way.

    I use the Ironblood on one of the tanks when I do vet DLC dungeons no-death runs. He never dies, and you can still dodge-roll fine if need be. Though it is annoying after a fight when I want to move away I'm a little slow. Also, if you are still taking poison/bleed damage after the fight is over it might proc again. So some drawbacks, but it's good for certain type of runs. Would never wear this set in some trials or PvP though...mobility is too key.

    Sprint speed debuff maybe general speed debuff no.

    Still feel that if they were going to nerf swift they should have added a negative modifier to sprint speed rather than just reducing it.

    you sound like a tank. that's pretty much what tanks do. I think in order to be effective since they are so stationary - they have pretty heavy armor. sensible really.

    Would hardly nerf the issue and would severely over nerf builds that aren't the issue what so ever. Stupid idea and a great depiction of how biased views think like selfishly, whether intentional or not.

    They are addressing the issue well imo. The only one i don't agree with is the major expedition pots change. That completely gutted the potions. Should have started at 20 seconds before passives.

    I'll admit, this game is going to be much less fun on solo stam characters and bgs are much less solo friendly for my style.

    None. Give la and medium speed buffs to compensate for the fact that they are lighter armor. Scale it appropriately beteeen la and medium. It’s reduculous that the pvp meta is ha, speed and bleeds right now.

    They really need to fix ha. Why classes are allowed to wear ha and dps at the same time is dumb. If you wear ha your a tank. Period. But as is a ha can do goofy damage, zip around with speed, and tank line a beast. They have no idea how to balance because they are trying to please too many play styles and game modes at the same time. Cyrodil < 50. No cp, cp, bgs, pve casuals, and pve trials, and maelstrom.

    You don´t get it do you?

    If you add an "active debuff" for using 5 pieces of heavy armor, you´ll need to add some similar debuff for wearing 5 light armor or 5 medium armor. Note that there´s a huge difference in making a trade-off (aka I get lower resistance for wearing light armor compared to wearing heavy armor) compared to getting a debuff for using a certain type of armor.

    And in its core, heavy armor is not the issue. Specific heavy armor sets are:
    * Warrior´s Fury
    * 7th Legion

    Adjust these two sets and I can assure you that the heavy armor meta will change drastically.

    There´re other heavy armor sets that gives damage boost, but I feel that they´re somewhat balanced due to low proc-rate (ravager) or doesn´t give that huge damage boost (veiled heritance).

    And heavy armor is by no means equal to tank. Get that old MMO thinking out of your head, ESO doesn´t go by that model.

    As and example: A few patches ago the world record run in vDSA was made with a tank wearing nothing but medium armor. Tank is defined by the role and how you perform it, not by the armor you´re wearing. Sure this is PvE. But same thing goes for PvP. You can be as tanky/durable in light/medium armor as in heavy (and still dish out a good amount of damage), but people have no issue with that for some reason.....

    But if heavy armor is the issue according to you, please tell me which one of the passives in the heavy armor skilline that is un-balanced and makes heavy armor broken.

    PvP favours survivability over damage because you can multiply damage by stacking up but you cannot multiply your own survivability.

    If you have issues with the armour weight of your opponent outshining your build, the reason probably is that you have no idea how to build properly, play with false assumptions about the game and that you are a zerging trash can.
