The incompetence of this company in being able to patch their game without breaking something else is STUNNING. This game has been out for YEARS yet it has all the problems that most MMO's only experience at launch.
You charge 100+ dollars for some dumb werewolf "house" that is just some terrain an artist spent 10 mins duplicating some trees on. Surely you can put some money into actually providing a stable server. But nope.
Please stop asking for a specific solution to something that you lack the technical experience to make recommendations on. "Taking down the servers" isn't going to solve your problems.
Is this specifically a problem with the NA servers? (Or maybe console servers?) I'm on PC EU and I very rarely get disconnected and my ping and FPS is as good as in any other online game.
Normally I'd assume it's because I have a decent PC and a very good internet connection (which I pay what feels like a small fortune to get) but so many people are certain the issues they're having are the fault of the servers and not their connection or anything in between. I assume at least some of them must know what they're talking about and have actually considered other possibilities. So that leads me to conclude I'm obviously connecting to different servers to them.

Intimating that the customer is somehow culpable to diagnose a technical problem with a dysfunctional service they pay for in order restore that service to a functional state is absurd so I can only assume you're a trollolol. Some of us are just getting fed up with the fact that without fail the infinite load screens, broken group tools, and failing voice chat always creep back into the game.
My suggestion was to take the server down and fix the problem ASAP instead of waiting for the next patch or update as ZOS tends to do. the game was basically unplayable half the weekend anyways.
