So what is going on with RNG on my writs I have not got a survey in a week have not got any glass or ambrosia Fragments in over a month if not longer not to mention turning in Markarth Mead then getting that recipe As reward is kinda a slap in the face

    I've been getting an abundance of useless jewelry crafting writs, but next to none from any of the other crafts.

    They removed glass fragments quite some time ago. If it makes you feel any better, nobody has gotten them in well over a month. The rest of what you describe is just RNG. That's how it works.

    I've not gotten a single writ in 3 weeks.

    @redspecter23, do you know of any sort of source for this, like in patch notes or something? I eventually noticed that fragments weren't dropping anymore, and wondered if they'd been intentionally removed or if it was a bug. I also notice that the Glass motif is now available for Writ Vouchers, so I'd guessed it was a change I just missed...

    There was a patch where this occurred. It's in the notes, though I coudln't tell you when. They removed the fragments at the same time they moved the full book over to the writ vendor. You can still buy the glue to stick any old fragments together, but new ones won't drop. I believe that glass pages were on the loot table for the last anniversary event as well, even though the fragments were already removed by that point.

    I just got my first chromium grain from a jewelry writ yesterday, so maybe we switched RNG?
    I've been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again.

    You are welcome. It was one of the changes that I really didn't understand and that happened in the same update with the outfit system.

    Got an ambrosia recipe fragment two days ago. So those do still drop. However I am guessing they lowered the drop rate as people have been sitting on their unsold recipes for a while and the login reward scrolls are starting to pile up too. (I got frigging 9 150% 2-hour scrolls just from the log in stuff!)
    This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.
