"Are you sure you want to Learn...?" Please Add Function

Long story short:

Guy loots expensive purple recipe.
Guy accidentally clicks on such recipe with no intentions of making use of it.
Guy is out gold.

Can we please have a basic message appear that asks, "Are you sure you want to learn..."?

IF NOT

Can we please be able to lock recipes, motifs, etc.?

And I'm well aware that PC has a mod for everything (and likely this) but a mod is not a solution.

I had this happen recently with a Blackmarrow Slab praxis while I was opening my crafting daily boxes. I could've sold it for 550K. Rip that dream.

Being able to lock recipes/blueprints: Yes, that sounds like a good idea.
But that "are you sure" message: Oh Heck No. I can't stand that. It's an endless annoyance. It's on WAAAAYY too many things as it is.

However, Zos will likely add something to protect us from our own thoughtlessness and carelessness as they have with other aspects. Fortunately on PC we can have addons saved us from such inconvenience for much of these added things.

For the longest time I never had this happen to me.

Until last night.

I got a motif I wanted from the crown store and went to put it in my bank for another character to learn but somehow wound up learning it in the character I was having deposit it.

You shouldn't be able to use items when you're in the bank menu screen. And there should also be a text box you have to click through asking whether or not you want to use/learn x item. It's kind of annoying having to type DELETE on blue quality and up items now, but after this I definitely understand the necessity of it.

My suggestion hurts you none then, and helps those of us that have outside world distractions (pets, kids, etc.). It's something that can happen to anyone in a split second.

Exactly the same garbage response people used to throw out when people accidentally enchanted over a good enchant on a locked item... and then ZOS implemented a check so you wouldn't do it accidentally.

When it comes to inventory management and managing 100s of items at any given time, I think it's MORE than fair that people be able to lock their stuff... being "careful" isn't always going to stop mistakes.

Options are wonderful. Yet we don't seem to get enough.

I don't want this suggestion forced on anyone - I get it, people hate more prompts. I do too overall.

But we need the option at least.

A lock option would be nice to have but not too sure about a confirm button as people would still mistakenly confirm the selection in which many, including myself, have done such as golding the wrong piece of armor or weapon.

I would rather have an undo or revert option, say 5 secs or so, for those unwitting moments.

An is also used in front of words beginning with the letter H...primarily when the first sound in the pronunciation of a word is a vowel sound.

But, back on topic, a confirmation that can be toggled on and off wouldn't be a bad idea.

I am as careful as I can be, but I get cursed by some weird form of double click when I'm not even clicking. This is also why I accidentally bought 24 camps while on a trip around Cyrodiil.

I agree we need a confirmation for recipes/blueprints/motifs, this coming from someone that doesn't sell stuff, like who knows maybe I got a recipe/blueprint/motif on an alt and wish to give it to my main or I know so and so doesn't know it. That way I don't accidentally eat it... that and can we have recipes and blueprints in their own spot outside of supplies? How many times have I accidentally ate something there without meaning to >_>'

Also an option to unlearn motif/recipe/diagram (doesn’t need to give you anything in return) would be nice. Gold is not a problem, I would be nice if I can “remove” my mistakes.

I accidentally learned a Dremora chest motif on an alt just last night and it wasn’t because I’m inattentive, it was because of LAG. I wanted to learn the item above it and below it but the selection tool moved right as I clicked x because my inventory was lagging to register that I had learned another motif and thus removed it from my inventory. I wasn’t even hovered over the chest motif when I click x!!!! So yeah I support this idea.
