Psijic Damage Shield Animation

From passives and stuff, when you have a Psijic skill slotted you get this Damage Shield from blocking. It has this bubble animation that covers your toon.

It would be great if other damage shields did something like this. Please. Pretty please. We have this ridiculous Aldemeri shield to stare at when blocking. Would be nice if there’s an option to turn that one off too.

It’s easy to see, and tell you still have a shield on. The way it is now, I can never tell if I’m shielded or not. So, end up spamming shields, wasting resources.

Ever think of referring to your health bar?When a shield isactive it will show +x health.Pretty obvious.

Blocking should take at least 1 second, and the shield should be nerfed.

It shows a small red bar over top a red health bar. Not really super obvious when your in combat.

So, in my experience...

The psijic shield is nice and bright. Its also only active when I block, so its more a visual cue for everyone else "Hey, this person is shielded!" At least in PVP.

The Healing Ward shield is a red-orange bubble around me, and shows up on my health bar.

Hardened Ward I see more on my health bar. It turns most of my sorc's health bar purple (at least, it does before Nerfmire) so as long as I can glance at my health bar I can see it easily. I'm sure theres a visual cue on my character, but I just always look at my health bar.

Igneous Shield looks more like smaller purple caps on the ends of my health bar. Easy to see when I cast it and it doesnt last that long.

Barrier makes a really pretty gold bubble around me, and again, is clearly visible on my health bar.

So I havent had a problem telling when I am and am not using a damage shield.
