Daggers and bow are my thing, why can't i have my bow on my back while my daggers are equipped.

Different considerations and rendering engine.

The hard part isn't rendering a character's weapons onto their body at all times. That's been kicking around in games since the 90.

I suspect in ESO, the issue is knowing which weapon set you'll draw when initiate combat.
