In regards to vampires and werewolves in pvp...

Zenimax please adjust the damage modifiers to vampires and werewolves in pvp for their specific weakness elements. There has been a huge power creep in the last two patches and these weakness modifiers are really outdated at this point. These are really fun and unique playstyles that I fear will go extinct in the following patches with the general power creep.

My last thread was dead on arrival. Hopefully this one will get some traction. I'm not asking for much... maybe just a 5% decrease to get it back to baseline.

I'm really scared of vampires. I think it's the pointy teeth. It's ok though, as I always carry lots of garlic. The down side is I don't get much action with the lady elves as a result.

Ill be honest werewolves are very scary, especially if it's a cold dark night out on the hills of Babalon, the last thing I want is to be slobbered over by a stinking over sized poodle.i do ensure I carry my dog whistle for such times.

I agree running into a werewolf is also not desirable.

I have the opposite concern to @usmguy1234. I'm usually more worried about the damage a vampire or werewolf might inflict on me. This is one of the reasons I don't go out much anymore, especially in the evening. If I do, I try to stray no further than the general goods store or inn. With that and all the garlic, I've got to admit I am now living a lonely life.

I am worried that blowing a dog whistle might actually attract the werewolfs to you. I usually just carry a big bag of cats and throw one out if a werewolf comes near. I've always found this very effective, unless the cat isn't very agile. I used to use silver arrows, but found this too costly. Especially with the amount I miss.

Perhaps we could just introduce compulsory muzzles and free manicures for werewolves? I'd be happy to offer this service at the local mages guild. I hear those guys are nifty with a spell and could probably protect me if things got out of hand. If nothing else it would get me out of my woodland hut for an hour or two.

Boo Hiss! But really damage is over the top already. We're pretty much free ap to anyone that slots a destro or dawnbreaker.

You’ll probably not get sympathy points from the RP and the fashion crowd for your concern. They already think Vampire is too mandatory and too ugly.

I agree though. Being Vampire is outright insane with all the fire damage and Dawnbreakers everywhere. Btw, how much mitigation does the undeath passive actually give? Anyone figured that out?

I think it's one of those deals where it looks good on paper but it's not so great in reality. Undeath is pretty powerful when paired with mist form so that's why I'm saying a small buff of -5% or so should do ie buffed light attacks should not hit you as hard as a skill does considering they are free to cast.

Vampire Undeath passive has saved so many vampires I have fought. Their weakness needs to stay. Yes, you are weak to Stamina dawnbreakers and Fire, especially Magicka Dragonknights. There should be consequences to those choices, especially with how many passive buffs are gained by the Vampire skill line.

Granted... I think I'd be happy if they just removed the sneak speed passive from their skill line and placed it on Legerdemain skill line or something like that so not everyone has to play Vampire to get that speed boost, but would have to put in work to level up the world skill line.

Riiiight. Those passives haven't been touched in a while (I may be wrong). That being said damage in this game has gone up exponentially. Mist form has also lost a lot of its elusiveness against stam too.

    Uhm, no.

The speedboost in sneak should not be a passive in legerdemain. It is one of the pro's against the harsch cons of being a vampire. I enjoy being a vampire despite being insta killed by dawnbreaker and having a hard time fighting fire.

If you want sneak speed there are 2 armors which can give that to you. One for stamina and one for magicka. So just like vampires, sacrifice some sets to get the speed. With legerdemain there is totally no sacrifice and everybody would have that speed due to a surplus of skillpoints.

Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

That speed boost is only really useful to nightblades. My templar has no escape mechanism but mist form so it'd be really nice for him to not get chewed up by fire or just give Templars an escape mechanism that doesn't gimp them versus 90% of damage in pvp. Maybe we should have a light form that burns everything.
