I am very very new to pc. I ended buying eso on pc because i could not wait for ps4. So ill be getting on ps4 as well but for now im playing on pc just so i could learn everything i could.
Anyway thats not the point. I am using a few addons, can i get a virus from using them? I use esoui only.

Smaxx✭✭✭✭✭No, as long as you use pure addons (i.e. lua script only; no executables) that are packed up as zip archives, you're pretty much save unless there's going to be some vulnerability someone abuses.0 -
Cairenn✭✭✭Yeah, no, there's no worry about getting a virus from a straight addon. All addons have are text files and perhaps graphics files. Viruses, keyloggers, trojans, they all require an executable in order to function. Just make sure that you only ever download from somewhere you trust (we {MMOUI} have been running UI sites for 12+ years at this point ...), keep your virus scanner updated, generally just be smart.
