Can this game run on a gtx 660?

I'm using a prebuilt hp from 2011 so none of the newer cards will work. I want to know if this game will work before I buy a used gtx 660. Thanks.

Wrong. GTX660 is enough for high settings. I have Asus GTX660Ti 2GB, 8GB Ram, i5-3570 @3,40 and play in full hd on 27" monitor without problems (desktop though). I bought my PC in about y.2012 to play Skyrim on max details with graphic mods. 6 years passed but that rig is still very good for what I need (and more than enough for MMOS like ESO). Depends on resolution. On low resolution your processor will do more work and the higher resolution will move work load to video card.
Make sure you will have good air circulation in case and maybe replace PSU to a new one as efficiency degrade over time for components in a power supply unit.0 -

Er... a GTX 660 can handle all of the technology in ESO. Development for this game started before 2012, which is when the GTX 660 was released. ESO is built on DirectX 11 for Windows machines, and DirectX 11 came out in 2009, meaning the GTX 660 natively supports it.
ESO is not a particularly graphics-intensive game, and the GTX 660 was a particularly powerful card for its generation. It can handle ESO fine. The bigger issue with a machine of that age will be the processor, as ESO (like most MMOs) is much more CPU-intensive than it is GPU-intensive.Edited by OrdoHermetica on September 30, 2018 7:45AM2
