Are Collection items account-bound?

So I've been playing on Xbox since the game released and i'm thinking of buying the PC version, however I don't want to lose my pets, mounts, costumes etc. Are they tied to my account or will they be gone on PC?

I don’t think items will transfer as you would need a new version of the game, no?

pets, mounts and costumes are bound to your account on your specific server so if you switch to PC or even just switch from the EU server to NA(or the other way around) you wont have them.

They are not transferable

Yes you need to buy a new copy/start a new account

Your xbox account is a different account from the one you will make on PC. Your account on the xbox will remain right where it is. You will create a brand new account on PC and it is not possible to transfer collections between accounts.

So, yes, your stuff is account bound and you will be starting from scratch with a new account on PC.

The vast majority are server only & the few things that are not are platform bound
so Xbox to PC = total restart

All collectibles are server wide, not account wide.

Things like chapters are account-wide per platform.

This part varies a little bit. For example, my Torchbug pet and Tiger Senche mount are cross-sever. Anything you earn in game, or buy from the crown store is per server, including crown crate items. However, anything you manually entered a key for will apply on both servers for that platform.

If you've got a hand entered key, like the Torchbug, or the costume and mount unlocks from the Skyrim: Special Edition promotion, you might be able to get customer support to mirror that stuff over to your PC account. But, it's a little unlikely.

EDIT: Oops, said, "cross-platform," I meant, "cross-server." They don't travel with me if I go from PC to PS4, but they do show up on my PCEU login.

Specifically anything bought or obtained inside the game, like achievement rewards and crown store items, are server specific. Anything obtained outside the game is available on both servers but only one platform.

For example if I go to the NA server I still have my white horse, dwarven war horse and nix-ox because I bought the Imperial upgrade back when it was sold through the website and got Morrowind through the website too. But none of my other mounts carry over because I got them in-game.

And if I switched to Xbox or PS4 I'd have nothing because it's considered a separate account.
