They can't just run around all the time saving everyone. They all have bad knees from the great archery contest catastrophe of 2E 578.

Guards should respond to dueling. They're guards, after all.

Guards are bound by civic and faction laws. Why would a Wayrest capital guard want to save people from EP/AD?

Oh, you mean that one... I remember all started with the contest among crafters to decide who can finish more woodworker writs in a week. They ended up with so many bows and arrows that they had to make an archery contest. That's when the southern Valenwood was also almost destroyed...

    Who says I'm saving them?
I'm merely removing my competition. The people I've "saved" offer me monetary benefits vs them slaving away before an inferior master to myself.

The guards are there for more important things than saving people. For example, when someone accidently clicks on a tomato sitting on the counter instead of the merchant. ;)

I'd love it if Dueling within towns and cities gave you a bounty.
