This post contains reward spoilers on the final steps of the main story line in Coldharbour.
These things annoys me, the lack of respect for the last king of Ayleids, King Laloriaran Dynar.
First you get a necklace from him when you complete the quest 'The Army of Meridia'.. and the info on the necklace says: Just sell it...
After you complete the The Final Assault you receive his sword, Ayelids Wrath, and guess what... it also says: Just sell it for gold...
I feel that there is no respect for the last king of the Ayelids.. and I don't like it.. show him/them some respect and let us have rewards that do not encourage us just to sell it for some gold..
And yes, I know it's just a game but still. ESO have lots of great lore and quests but sometimes I do feel they are just ending quests without a proper finish leaving us hanging there... So to speak.

✭✭✭That quest made me so sad. Really liked that guy and, you know, the last, which makes it sadder.
I actually still have that sword in my bank, locked so I can't accidentally deconstruct it. It serves no purpose, but I couldn't bring myself to sell it or decon it, even back when I needed the gold/materials.

We need a way to store our precious quest rewards in out houses so all visitors can admire our accomplishments!!1 -

✭✭✭✭✭I'd assume that's a side effect of the "Ornate" trait. And they're Ornate because the quest designers wanted to give the King fancy ceremonial armor, not out of a lack of respect. They were thinking thematically, not of gameplay.1 -

✭✭NICE even ZoS know not to care about those non BIS. Its to help lower level characters not make a mistake in equipping it.
Better of selling it and buying/making turog's or hundings instead.0
