Can zos just allow us to ignore/ drop the silver and gold quest. It just floats there forever and completing it on every character gets redundant. Seems like simple fix, of course not as important as other things that need to be fixed. I figured there must be other people annoyed by this and would want it changed.

What of you've already been in those other zones? My new character at level 22 I already started skill point quests and other quests in all 3 zones. I'm currently working with the Queen and both Kings. Not sure it's needed now that you can go all over from the start..
Curious though - when you get done with the main quest line can I just leave the Harborage without talking to Caldwell?0 -

I think you still have to talk with him. Cadwells Almanac will have checks next to main quests already completed. I think this only shows up after the Molag Bal encounter.
I forgot to mention, you also get a gold soul shriven motif book for completion of Silver.0
