I had logged in & watched the stream team for 6 days in a row. Never got 1 drop from it, Ok I get that it says "a chance to receive a Drop each day" But what really gets me, I logged in & watched for 30 minutes of the...….
"ESO Live & Official Bethesda Streams
Tune into our official ESO Live show on www.twitch.tv/bethesda for at least 10 minutes:
Summerfall Event Livestream Special: September 21, 2:30-3:30PM EDT
Drops will start to go out at the conclusion of the stream"

Not anywhere does it say "a chance to receive a Drop ". I didn't get a drop for this either. SO I think this who twitch crate drop is a joke.

its ok to have it muted. I'm serious. its totally ok. it will still work. but you need to make sure you have accounts linked. if you are not getting any crates from official livestreams (and they have guaranteed drops) then there is something off with your twitch to ESO account link. you may need to unlink (and make sure to do this on both ESO account page AND twitch account page) and then relink again.

It's okay to have the browser tab muted. The Twitch ap can't detect that. Muting the player itself, with its own volume slider, will mark you as not watching.

That said, from the 21st to the 24th... drops felt like they were broken. We're getting them again now, but, something was bjorked up.

Same, really wish they would improve this somehow by doing a permanent 100% 3 crates a day from watching a stream 3-8 hours or so so at 3 hours you get 1 crate, 5 hours 2nd crate, and 8 hours 3rd crate but its 100% guaranteed to get them, or atleast do something other than this stupid rng, I've been linked since 4 months and usually got a decent amount of crates but recently this week has been 0 basically through the whole week of watching streams 24/7

Looks like there's something wrong with your account.

Although judging from the forum posts about it, support isn't going to actually do anything to help whatsoever - so you're out of luck.

The real problem is that no matter how many times you drop them, they just keep twitching. :o

That is a bit excessive. People having a twitch feed running on a 2nd device or in the background all day probably isn't what they had in mind when they started this. Nothing wrong with getting one a day for spending a bit of time watching.

I litteraly have twitch itself muted and I get crates. 100% of the time from official bethesda streams (I wasn't actualy watching the summerset event one, so it was muted), and about 70% of the time when its a "chance" to get crate although it feels more like 50% this week cause I seem to be getting them every other day. and sometimes I get them on alt account and not main. sometimes I get them on main but not alt. but all of the streams I have are always muted. I tried the whole lowest volume thing and it was annoying, like mosquito buzz

This go around has been pretty bad, only 1 crate for me. The last time i was getting 2-3 crates every day though.

I watched someone open 40-50 twitch crates....

Every single one dropped nothing but trash consumables....

So just forget about them, even if you farm loads of them which you can't...the chance of getting anything more than consumables is so stupid you will wish you didn't bother.

Please hurry up and ban this gambling ***.

If you believe you earned the Bethesda stream crate(s) through participation, then open a support ticket. Even automated systems occasionally make mistakes.

But the honeymoon period is mostly over. I'd recommend to watch the content that you really want to watch and take the drops as an added bonus, make a purchase through Twitch for a guaranteed emote and crate, or trade 80k or so gold to somebody for a seasonal box which is intended to have better returns.

Also in case you're watching more than one stream make sure to open the ESO one last. Check that it says you're watching that channel under your Twitch name in the right upper corner.

Its not worth it anyway man. Those crates are full of useless potions and stones. Got plenty of them but me and my friends never get anything from it.

It is just an illusion that you will get a reward - only to make you watch streams.

So as I said - don't bother about those drops unless you want to watch some streams. Otherwise its a waste of time.

Perhaps I'm confused, but don't the Twitch crates come from opening a Twitch stream in another window, and ignoring it while you do something else?

So where is the "gambling"? Because if it's just the randomness, then.... gotta tell you, there's "gambling" all over RPGs. Every time you go into a dungeon and kill that loot pinata at the end, it spews out some random junk. Ditto for unlocking chests, daily writ rewards, the contents of harvesting nodes, etc.

Now, I'd be happy to refer to the Twitch crates as "bribes" - since they're offering them to you in return for theoretically getting you to 'use' their service. But 'gambling'? Just because they're random stuff in a package? You're not trading money for them, you're trading time & electricity (or, really, just electricity, since you can just start the stream and go cook/eat dinner.)

edit: disclaimer, I've got nothing to do with these bribes, because they're not remotely enough to make me use this silly "streaming" thing that, as an 'old', I just don't understand. ;)
It was bad enough that I had to make & own a Twitch account just because my tabletop D&D DM wants to use the D&D Beyond website, and they're piggybacking on Twitch accounts.
