Same for the mount and pet, if I see the mount and pet anywhere I go it won't be special.
There needs to be a level of exclusivity for the in-game feature so it will be worth having and when hundreds of thousands of players will use the same in-game items at the same time it will greatly devalue their worth.

There are already plenty of limited time, overpriced mansions that will serve your sense of entitlement and exclusivity needs. Enjoy.

Too big for me. I prefer smaller homes that I can make cozy.

With that one gigantic room, though, I may move some of my overflow furnishings there instead of having them currently scattered around in other smaller empty homes.

I don't understand this thinking. There's only 58 houses in the game, including the 5 inn rooms. None of them are exclusive, including the crown store ones.

I'm one of the few people who actually makes a point of visiting other people's houses to see what they've done with them and I can tell you I've never loaded into one and thought "Oh wow, they bought this one! That's so cool and unique!" the house you used is just a template. What makes it interesting is what you do with it. Of course what you do with it needs to fit with the theme of the house, but you can do cool things with a small house just as well as a big one (potentially even easier since the item limit can be less restrictive).

    I completely agree @Universe
I was actually going to buy this house when it came on sale, so you'd think I'd be over the moon when I found out we're gonna get it for free. Quite the opposite, this event will make this house almost the most common house in the game (aside the inn rooms) even though it should cost $100+. I'm now saving my crowns for another crown exclusive house, when one comes around in the crown store. I know that every house is owned by many many players, but I'd hate to invest crowns on furniture and loads of time decorating the place, but then I'd see everyone in my guild, zone chat etc, talking about how they're decorating THEIR Grand Psijic Villa.I just think it would be, like the mount and pet we'll be getting, waaaaayyyy too common. Remember when you could pre-order Summerset and you would receive the Nightmare Senche? That was easily the most common mount in the game for several months. Aside from my opinion, I still completed the event and think it's a great idea from ZOS, from a sales point of view as well as a community point of view; it's really brought everyone together.

It largely depends on the layout of the house, but I'll probably make a project out of furnishing it with stuff my crafter can make. It could take a few months or more since I'll play with it when I've nothing else to do or when I'm bored. But Sleek Creek will always be my main home due to it being conveniently located to Rawl’kha.

It's gonna be storage for a while. I can finally get some of the furnishings outa my bank and apartments to consolidate things. Some time down the road I might decorate it.

Khajiit is not a decorator as such but Castle Claws is now located in what used to be Hundings place.

I'll decorate it a little bit, but probably not put too much effort into it because for such a huge place the item limit will be really restricting. So I'm planning to just do the main hall and then wait to see if the item limit ever gets raised enough for me to do the rest.

my primary when its not whatever house I'm decorating for a guild contest - is Daggerfall overlook and it shall remain that way. I will however play with decorating the Villa, an since I will be getting it for secondary account as well - I will decorate it more then once :)

P.S. I couldn't possible care any less then its not exclusive. that's not why I like it, or anything else that I like. if the only reason you enjoy something is becasue other people don't have it? i feel very sorry for you.

I haven't really poked around in previews yet--I may move my primary over there, but it's doubtful. It'll probably just collect dust.

I have utmost respect for people who actually stick with housing decorating, especially over multiple properties. The tedium gets to me quickly, despite having lots of ideas and projects I'd like to complete.

i've been delaying settling on a house to turn into a cathedral to the Divines. this place is better situated for that than Daggerfall Overlook. none of my characters will live there --

-- okay, maybe if the place is set up perfect and i still have room for a cot and a reading desk, maybe my priest will stay over some nights, when i want to show it off --

but it's a decorating scheme that i've wanted to pursue since Homestead dropped. and i don't care how many other people have the same thing. but mostly it'll be a free port to Artaeum all day, especially since i only did the PJJJ questline on one character until they gave me a house there; i've been waiting for this.

If you do set up a temple to the divines please post screenshots, I'd love to see how you do it.

I wanted to have joint shrines to Azura and Kynareth in my main characters home, as their two main deities and I ran into the problem that there's far more daedric themed furniture than divines themed stuff. The only objects I could find specifically associated with Kynareth are a carpet and a tapestry (apparently there was a small sigil model on the luxury furnisher but I missed it).

I with there was an "Other" option in the poll because i'm still not decided yet.

I would love for this to be my primary home! It's going to take a lot of decorating though and i'm unsure how long that might take. Plus I know i'll need to get eso+ at some point to make it fuller. Right now I have two homes with one empty cause I needed to sell the furnishings to make gold for my now primary house. As you can see i'm slower than molasses so the thought of fully decorating a notable home is daunting, but hopefully it will become really nice!

My primary has been Pariah's since it came out, and when Psijic was first datamined I thought to myself, "Oh wow! I may have to purchase a second home! It's soooooo beautiful!!!" Now that Pariah's slots are full, I can take my favorite spaces and transfer them to Psijic

I will add that pretty much all the manors and popular houses are common along with some of the crown store houses.

Pretty much everyone into housing has the Hundings Hall. So is that not worth decorating then? BULL.

So saying THIS house will be too common to decorate is stupid.
I view housing as a personal thing. I do it because I like the creativity it allows me in the game. Whether other people see it or not doesn't matter. I do usually announce in my guilds that are into housing to come and visit iif they like.
