[BUILD VID] Stam Warden - "The Tryhardest"

This build changes things up a bit and blurs the distinction between front bar and backbar. It's strong in 1vX, small scale, BGs, and GvG (w/ skill adjustments). It's OK in duels but is not a dueling build and will not beat a decent player using a dueling-specific build.

Warden is great at a lot of things, but sadly dueling isn’t one of them. If I want to duel I play my Stam DK instead... it’s one of the only things my Stam DK is better at. (Easier to land venomous claw than sub assault...)

This build can duel OK due to the healing, dot pressure, defile, and burst. But you won’t win a sustain war against a good dueler because your stun is coming from dizzy swing, which is easily blocked. If I had to duel with it and I couldn’t swap to a reverb build, I’d add beast trap in the place if either shimmering shield (against Stam toons) or corrupting pollen (shield stack toons) just to apply extra pressure on their Stam and to make beetles easier to land. Trap is expensive though and so I’d prob need another regen glyph...

I’ve been in this build for 4 weeks now so it could definitely be.

Sometimes I’ll drop spriggans and run clever alch in its place if I take all the dmg skills off my 2h bar

How do you like it when you go to CA? I run BP & CA in medium and have considered dropping BP for another set but I feel like resource control would be garbage.

Really depends on the situation. CA has 30s of down time so if I’m in a situation where that’s OK (kiting a zerg) then I like it.

I prefer this build though because it has spriggfans on the dizzy / shalks bar... but if I take dizzy offf and don’t run a CC there’s no reason for me to run spriggan a since that bar wouldn’t have any dmg (I move sub assault to DW bar) so in that case I use CA since it’s a nice backbar set.
