inthecoconut✭✭✭✭Yes!There is a lot of room for improvement, and I do think overall that the devs are trying to improve the game. It is the only MMO on the market that hits enough check marks for me to play.
Two big ones are:
Interactive combat - I like that there is blocking/dodging, I prefer managing resources instead of cooldowns, and I'm glad there is no tab-targeting
Class diversity - I like being able to experiment with builds. Not many MMOs offer that.0 -

1. The world is VAST, immersive, and yet familiar enough to really sink deep into the lore.
2. There is a great open world feel, and with the exception of a few storyline breaking dialogs - you can just roam free.
Pain Points.
1. I cannot STAND the Guild trading system. It's cumbersome, inefficient, and ineffective.
2. PvP and PvE should be balanced separately. SEPARATELY DAMMIT!

✭✭Yes!I like the story and the fact that quests have some flavor and character to them rather than just being grindy grunt tasks that you only do for the exp.
I also like the voice acting and the fact that you really feel like you're interacting with the NPCs.

1) The constant whining about balance. It's not there and it never will be. There are ways to bring yourself to par with other players, just stop being lazy and whining when changes affect you poorly, because for the most part, your happy when anything BUT you gets nerfed. Example, tons of complaining about shields, and tons of support to nerf Cloak.
2) A lot of negativity surrounding my #1. If you aren't happy, fine, be unhappy and if it is too much, quit. Don't try to bring everyone else down with you. It's a game, at the end of the day, your shielding abilities don't convert to real life 'cool points' so get on board or move on
2 Pleasures.
1) This Summerfall event has shown me how well the community can work together. Even with all the doubt and nay sayers, people are still out there trying to achieve a common goal. I myself have made a lot of friends on the EU server from just running people around to get the Pathfinder achievement.
2) ZoS is constantly putting out new content. I agree some older fixes should take place before all the nice new stuff comes out, but the rate in which new things are introduced has kept me active since 02/14 (BETA baby, yea!)
3) Support in this game is amazing. On many occasions I have gotten into conversations with support to fix issues I am having and have yet to be turned away while being told 'There is nothing we can do". They ALWAYS make sure I am satisfied before the end of whatever correspondence is done.CP 1220

1) It's a fast-paced MMO which I like.
2) I've always wanted to explore most of Tamriel.
I'd like to address a pain point though:
It seems that ZOS doesn't really listen to the community on many occasions. Don't get me wrong, they have done a lot of good but there are some annoying things too. The new shield nerf is one of them, the Morrowind patch was a disaster and they seem to be too inclined on nerfing in general rather than buffing everything else.

RD065✭✭✭✭Yes!Yes.. The story line is good. Compared to GW2 is really really good. I can level up by doing main quests, guild quests etc. without doing a bunch of side quests. Though the side quests, for the most part, are rather good as well.

✭✭✭✭✭Yes!I've loved ESO since I started at PC launch, having been a massive TES fan since Arena. As a solo/cooperative PvE player without addons I've had no significant performance, content or balancing issues since then and it continues to live up to my original expectations as my main gaming home with nothing else remotely comparable even tho' I play a number of other games as well.
I know that sounds like fanboi stuff but it's simply my personal experience with the game. Others will approach the game with different expectations and approaches and end up with different experiences and conclusions - that's the joy of gaming, we're all different!0 -
Mintaka5✭✭✭✭✭No!If I liked it 100% I'd have voted yes, but often times I spend long moments looking at the login screen, and finding myself more often exiting game to play something else. Every patch seems to bring more content, yet the engagement of that new content is very unenjoyable. ✭Yes!I still have a lot of fun, never run out of things to do. Although my main focus right now is 1) doing my writs and selling everything not nailed down and 2)PvP.
I don't usually chat too much with people in game, but I really do think we have some of the best people. I pay attention to zone chat in Cyro, guild chats always, and then certain people around here, on Twitter, Twitch.
