Are you PVE or PvP?

Some of your are completely delusional. There is NO money made from PVP!
Imperial City is dead 24/7 - all the action is in Cyrodiil, which is base game, and requires no additional outlay of cash.

The only issue is that the game developers have still, after 4 years, not figured out how to separate a PVE Skill-line and a PVP Skill-line. Or, to somehow change the existing skills to act differently once you enter the Cyrodiil zone.

On top of that, Cyrodiil has remained exactly the same since release. Only in the next update is it going to have any update / additions, so 4 years PVPers have been playing the exact same buggy, laggy, brokenthing, and you think that PVP is the 'favourite child'? Seriously?

You should have just named this post 'another whine about Sorc shields' and have done with it.
The feigned interest in PVP / PVE ratios is a thin disguise.

Pve always. I love PVP (BG) but because I don't have any max level characters I always seem under powered. I try and end up getting my ass kicked.. And then of course laughed at.

I feel all the voices in this community and the developers focus all on PVP, and never thought of PVE or how each toons plays in PVE. What if some people doesn’t enjoy or want to pvp?
I disagree with this. PVP isn't heard enough. The problem I think is the fact ZOS hasn't implemented a system where each skill is different between PVP and PVE. They try but as we all see, it's not that easy. The tool tip for each skill should give the damage for PVP and PVE. A possible different effect between PVP and PVE. So something like "This ability grants ______ and deals 500 damage for an X amount of time. While in Cyrodiil, this ability grants ______ and deals 250 damage for X amount of time."

This would open up so many more useful skills for Magic and Stamina users for both PVP and PVE which I think each skill should supply one of each (a magic and stamina).

ZOS talks about diversity in builds but the only diversity they have created was appearance.

I'm a p. I ve but if you vp too who gives a v or an f. Life is too short for name-calling, especially in Cyrodil. Keep your issues near the PC or console, in a box, and pull one at a time. But ZOS, pull your finger out of the behind made fat with money. And fix the lag for Cyrodil. Even I can see that's the only priority, if only so I can get master angler on my other characters. They are soooo angry right now.

Yeah, the poll could have used an "only" category for each.

PvE only. (in several years, the AP rewards from daily login may finally get me Vigor on my Stamblade! :D )

edit: Hmm. On the other hand, daily rewards handing out AP and Tel Var might make it harder for ZoS to get statistics on how many people don't do pvp. Or that's why they did it - "see? Everyone has AP! PvP is flourishing!"

I think the BG's daily bonus has made people more interested in their abilities to be successful at PvP.

PvE all the way. I have a toon made for PvP, I dabbled in it a bit but first of all I'm horrible at it and I generaly discovered it's not my cup of tea (BG is fun to do once in a while but I admit I hated every minute in Cyro when I went to get horn for each of my healers).

I think I've been in Cyrodill all of twice. I tried a few BGs and they were ok but I'd rather run dungeons.

I was a total PvE guy back in the day. Oh, how I suffered to get caltrops before they changed the AP and assault line gains..
However, I have fun on both nowadays. Why not? Both have their merits. And it’s pretty nice to gain alliance ranks(current lieutenant, almost grade 2). I’m not hardcore on either, though, as both communities can get pretty toxic.

PVE only. TES games were always PVE for me. Besides pvp is (in any game) boring and repetitive...

      (Sorry for my english)

Bash an a.i with the same rotation again and again, no thanks I enjoy fightning against a human because the outcome is uncertain no matter how skilled you are.

A good PvP group from a PvP guild that uses vocal and skilled player with +1000 hours in Cyrodiil or BGs can be defeated at the end

A good PvE group from a PvE group with the same characteristics can't lose maybe one wipe but not defeated at the end

I do battlegrounds every once in awhile to level under 50 toons and then the occasional PVP when trying to farm telvar stones. But beyond that I avoid doing PVP.

PvP makes them $ too. Some think, myself included, you need to PvE to get gear for PvP. Case in point, I wear julianos which I crafted myself and then mix in various dungeon sets along with it.

Crafting alone, you need the crafting bag...amiright?
