Where is my Magicka and Stamina ?

I was trawling through You Tube yesterday looking for builds for my Sorcerer and was quite shocked at the amount of Magicka they had. On my sorcerer for instance I only have just over 26k and the guys in the video's have like 20-25k more than me, so I was wondering how come they have so much ?. I craft my own armour and haven't put glyphs on it, but surely the glyphs on still wouldn't amount or take me near 40k, it's the same with my stamina characters as well.
Any advice appreciated, although in my defence I do manage my magicka and stamina ok

Look up Necropotens set and you will see why they have that much magicka.Combine that with some skill that buff magicka with percent.0 -
Wizhunter✭✭✭I am running Julianos unglyphed and Staffs which ever I can craft atm and usually copy the cp points off certain builds I see on the tube.

Glyphs add like 4.1k max stats. This gets buffed by champion points/racials/abilitys/passives. So that would be around 40% more from that stuff for mag and 30% more for Stam. That would increase your max magic by ~25%% right there, 26k to 32k.0 -

Because of the way the game works. Right now you have inflatted stats, to match a cp160 person. Then as you level, you gain those stats back using level appropriate food(you are using food right? That is another 3-5k max stats)/gear/passives/ablitys. This is the best way zos has figured out to emulate the traditional elder scrolls gameplay of go wherever you want/whenever you want in an MMO.Edited by Lightspeedflashb14_ESO on September 24, 2018 12:33PM0 -

When you start leveling, your stats are buffed to CP 160 thanks to battleleveling. As you level up and gain attributes and skills, the benefits of battleleveling decrease. If you don't put points into health (usually only tanks do), your health will decrease.0 -
Wizhunter✭✭✭Thanks, yes ofc I use food just thought if your not putting points into health it should stay at what it was in the beginning not go down. Like I said though I seem to be managing my magicka and stamina ok but with you guys helping like you have I now know where to improve it

TiZzA93✭✭✭Also if you are not cp160 yet and ur gear is lower level than you are the stats are giving u alot less the further the gap0

Kolzki✭✭✭✭✭To get that high on a mag sorc they’ll also be running bound aegis and inner light on their bars for the passive max magika bonus. Together with food, magika enchants, cp and racial passives it should be possible to get into the 35 to 40k range. Beyond that they’ll be using sets like necropotance.0
