Seriously?
I mean i know a lot of people who simply refuse to go to summerset because they're doing everything in the game chronologically and don't want to touch the content way ahead of them. And the pet/mount/house isn't enough to make them screw up their immersion.
(myself included, altho i dont even have summerset yet for that reason)
Other people just don't care too much for any of those rewards in general so they won't do it lol.
Then the rest of these people are those who don't want anything that isn't unique or exclusive. The "if everyone has it i dont want it" mindset.
I did NA on PS4 yesterday, will create new account on EU server tonight.
I'm a new player, only have one CP101 character at the moment, if I create new account on EU server, can this new character have access to mount straight away or do I need to level it to 8(?) to be able to use mount?
The mount is available right away. No level8ng required.
Its the mount that comes with summerset.

Thank you, good to know that I can use my mount from NA server!

Community Progress:
September 18 - 20% default community- progress meter (pre-event) from players who already had the achievement
September 19 - 20% no increase because the event hadn't officially started yet
September 20 - Day 1 - 35% (+15% for 9/18 and 9/19)
September 21 - Day 2 - 42% (+7% for 9/20)
September 22 - Day 3 - 47% (+5% for 9/21, even when ZOS live-streamed the event on Twitch)
September 23 - Day 4 - 63% (+16% for 9/22, this made up for the low Friday-night/Saturday-morning turnout)
September 24 - Day 5 - 76% (+13% for 9/23, a good Sunday-night/Monday-morning turnout)
September 25 - Day 6 - X%
September 26 - Day 7 - X%
September 27 - Day 8 - X%
September 28 - Day 9 - X%
Summerfall Event ends on Friday, September 28 at 10:00AM EDT.
We just need to average 6% gains over the next 4 days. It should be doable.
Makes me wonder if ZOS secretly lowered their mystery target-number to make the % gains seem larger/more significant.

Not my thing.
Helping other people get a treat isn’t your thing eh?
Personally I think the mount and pet are ugly and I don’t like McMansions in games or real life.
AND ESO rarely does a community wide event so I feel like participating in it will encourage them to do more, maybe even for something I like.
I'm not going to contribute to other's addiction. How many houses, furniture, costumes, mounts, etc. do you need?
I'd rather see large scale in-game community events focusing on combat and rewarding rare gear or items (not just cosmetics).
I don't have any houses. If I want to collect mounts or pets that is MY business. From what you wrote, I guess you like to PvP? I see NO point in that, NO reason for it WHATSOEVER in a fantasy Role Playing Game whose primary reason for existing is that players are trying to save the world from great evils. HOWEVER, if there was an event such as this in which ALL players would/could benefit from something that called for PvP, I would put aside my hatred of it & participate because others would get something they liked or desired. That's called "giving a little something for the greater good", but I think perhaps you can't understand a concept like that.
You are SELFISH and that is all there is to it. Why do people like you even play Massively Multi-player games? I'd really like to know, because this type of game generally requires players to work together at various times, but from your self-serving post (and the similar self-serving posts of others in this & the other thread) I can't honestly see how any of you can manage that.
Back to the topic at hand. I also am in the camp that believes we'll get the pet & mount (we already have the pet) and a polite message that we didn't quite make the 100% but here's a sale on that house for 72 hours! I also think that it's been stacked against us no matter what Gina or the other CMs say - why give away something they can get a lot of real money for? Since I have no crowns again until November, I guess it's a good thing that I continue to grind out writs & Summerset quests every day so that I will eventually have enough gold to purchase my first house in Alinor. I already have the achieve to buy the Vvardenfell house, but that one is even more expensive than the Alinor house. I'm hoping to have enough gold by Thanksgiving.
Oh and yes I have done NA & will do EU tonight.
They probably have the mindset of "well if everyone has it then I don’t want it."
Seriously?
Hell I bought the Mind-Shriven horse when it came out and noticed that other people had it too. Was I upset? No, actually I felt glad for them that they had something they liked.
I was even happy that one of my friends bought it too because they liked the horse as well.

I think those people are just very insecure. They cant allow themselves to enjoy something just because its a nice thing and they like it, they're constantly comparing themselves to the others.

A little update...
Despite me saying I don't have Summerset and not planning to buy, I've decided to go ahead and buy the DLC so I can contribute and help everyone out and keep the community event going. I'll eat instant ramen for a couple days but screw it. You all convinced me even though I'm sure I won't ever touch summerset until at least 6 months later, since I'm doing quests and zones completely chronologically.
All you good folks totally deserve it. I don't even care it's just 2 points towards the goal. Every point counts right?
Yay healthy community! And screw you, all those of you, who are selfish and greedy.
Both NA and EU done.

This has been answered several times already. No. "100%" does not mean 100% of players who own Summerset.
The 100% is simply ZOS's mysterious target-number. No one knows the number except ZOS.

you may not hit the summerset quests for another six months or so, but - you're gonna be chilling in that sweet elf villa in a few weeks
