    Changes coming to Cyrodiil with Update 20. Could be big-ish changes if they are talking about them on a panel.

    Map changes that funnel groups will just make the lag and disconnects worse. And encourage even more cc driven game play. Not happy.

    Last 2 days.

    Lost 2 huge ticks due to disconnect today.
    Lost a keep due to 6 of 12person group dc-ing at critical push.
    Lost raid leader 3 times in 30mins due to dcing.
    Mass DC Disconnect everytime we approach large Ash keep fights and large groups at Bleakers.

    Stacking time-stop permafrost and hard ccs at choke points is forcing small groups to heal stack and soloers to run stam 2 handers builds. It forces magplars to go vamp. . EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A ROLEPLAY GAME! (My breton templar is disgusted by this. ) It means large groups have a 'rapids guy' just to push into other groups open field.

    Add to this the broken break free and non existant/buggy cc immunity that affects players with high ping disproportionately and pvp feels like wading through mud in the great war trenches. Realistic but not fun to do.
    Please reconsider making stam skills or going vamp the only way to manage the new snare meta before introducing the new map

    TL DR
    Please spend resources on fixing the current performance of Cyrodil and reconsider the effect snare stacking meta and cc bugs have, before redesigning the map.

    Agree. The cc bug, the lag and the disconnects you describe have always been part of Cyrodiil gameplay for me. And now, I'm only going to go there for transmute stones. Then I'll hop right back out and go do something else. It's such a shame because I would say the concept of Cyrodiil open world is better than WvWvW in GW2, siege + node wars in BDO and epic bgs in WoW. Except that it doesn't perform well, lags + kicks people out constantly, skills don't work and it's basically a steaming pile of bleep because of the way the combat has been unbalanced and proc sets keep proccing while my skills don't go off.

    yea cyrodill performance got me absolutely out of the game. i come back only for daily logins, maybe some battleground or sth and log out. if they keep it like this its gonna go down whatever event they keep on doing

    I love it how everyone is quiet again about cyrodill performance. Its just what happens everytime. Zos in eso lives pretends everything works fine.

    People stop making posts about it in the forum, or posts complaining about servers are CLOSED down!!!!? Consumers have the right to voice their opinion about the product they paid for and comment on it.

    I cant wait untill next weekend or big event in which people will start posting threads about poor performance ,untill it fades out again.

    But we have new stuff for cyro now, dont we? New outposts and destructible enviroment that will bring out new bugs(which is understandable) and make the performance even worse. Lets rejoice

    Today I had 1 or even 2 seconds delay before able to use skills after sprint or dodge roll etc - my hotbar was just grayed out!
    This is terrible.
    How sane man would want to come back there again? ><
    That was PC EU Vivec, for sure, we was near yellow gates, all 3sides was there, fighting for 2 scrolls.
    If renting more powerful servers is too expensive and ZOS just can't allow to themselves to drastically reduce transferring data by removing ANY appearance or similar unneeded crap, then, reduce players cap. At least by 30%.

    Few months ago I'd say it's something with your setup OP, but since Summerset I got this disconnects to. When closing to large sieges so get instant DC, then have some problems with login back, usually it ends with me being spawned at starting area or siege end while I tried to login. This is extremely frustrating...
    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

    yea and best case scenario in big fights ping goes up to 300. My setup is definately not the problem. I used to play planetside 2 without issues. I still play bf1 a lot, tried bfv , no network issues. I can tell when my internet is getting silly and surely not a hardware issue(its more than enough). Im not one of those people...

    Yea bro , today i had a sudden disconnect after playing for a little while with very high ms. I immediately force quit the game lol

    just now... big fight for faregul, big groups inside, just be going close to the keep im almost getting timed out. if i stay far enough, im living at the edge of disconnecting or not.

    GUESS WHAT

    after 2 min i get timed out.

    I was about to write a very similar post after getting 5 disconnects last night: everytime I got close to a massive battle, My ping would stay normal (120ish), but the delay on skills and bar swap would feel like 2 seconds and all of a sudden everyone freezes and I’m left to wander the battlefield in a matrix-like fashion for 5 minuts until finally being thrown back to login screen, all while having 40+ fps. This is on EU Vivec btw. I used to play alot on Shor and never had a sinlge disconnection like this. It feels so frustrating :(

    I mean, i was kinda surprised that it was saturday and i played for that long. But when i saw that there was a zerg playing. Some dc people moving very close and spamming skills, server got very laggy and after a while, disconnect.

    Now im very positive that zergs *** up the server

    It’s a shame that zos seemingly has a deliberate code of silence regarding the performance of their game. I’ve never really seen anything like it from any company towards their own product. Clearly it’s a directive from the top man.

    yea, i mean who of the dev team would like to hear complaints all the time about one thing that its the MOST important of all in every single game?

    u cant have a healthy player population without a decent server performance or even game performance. i mean its rediculous that this game runs at 30 fps on my computer. I run bf1 pubg gtav and other heavily demanding titles over 60fps at all times with decent settings. This game has no excuse.

    No :). It is not a ZS or what ever zerg problem. Is a game problem! They play it the way Zeni advertises and sells it. But the game can't handle this massive fights in a correct way, especially when you're coming to such a big fight. This is the problem Zeni has to solve!

    But again. PVP EU Vivec. Fight for Arrius. Place a camp near mg, run back to the open MG. Half way and the connection was gone :/

    i dont know dude. whenever an organized zerg is in the server 100% i will be timed out at some point. I mean as i mentioned in the post, i was once at a fight not long ago at roebeck. We were at inner defending and both EP and DC were in sieging. This siege lasted 2-2.30 hours! I got timed out once at the whole thing. I am talking about waaaay too many people in that fight. 2full groups of AD vs 2 groups of each alliance for sure. I was so surprised to see that. For the most part of the siege they werent fighting each other, but after a long time and many breaches they got tired of it and attacked each other :D

    i play more rarely nowdays man, i suggest u do the same. Maybe consider spending your money to a game more loved by the devs. I will 100% will never give this company another cent. Its disgusting, even though the game itself is very good.

    Again people are leaving aside the terrible server performance that is happening for years, no one cares anymore.

    But instead lets all buy the new summerset expansion so will get a "FREE" house. YAY
