Helping other people get a treat isn’t your thing eh?
Personally I think the mount and pet are ugly and I don’t like McMansions in games or real life.
AND ESO rarely does a community wide event so I feel like participating in it will encourage them to do more, maybe even for something I like.
I'm not going to contribute to other's addiction. How many houses, furniture, costumes, mounts, etc. do you need?
I'd rather see large scale in-game community events focusing on combat and rewarding rare gear or items (not just cosmetics).

omw to EU server to add one more to it.
howdy general, you gonna go check out vivec when you hit level 10?
in the eu? you play over there too?
I really don't understand how anybody can be excited about getting a horse or a pet that literally everyone else will also get.
how sad is it for you that you cannot enjoy something becasue its awesome and can only enjoy it if other people don't have it.
its a beautiful house, its an adorable pet and a fun looking mount. it doesn't have to be exclusive or difficult to obtain in order to be exciting and enjoyable.

I mean i know a lot of people who simply refuse to go to summerset because they're doing everything in the game chronologically and don't want to touch the content way ahead of them. And the pet/mount/house isn't enough to make them screw up their immersion.
(myself included, altho i dont even have summerset yet for that reason)
Other people just don't care too much for any of those rewards in general so they won't do it lol.
Then the rest of these people are those who don't want anything that isn't unique or exclusive. The "if everyone has it i dont want it" mindset.

I don't have any houses. If I want to collect mounts or pets that is MY business. From what you wrote, I guess you like to PvP? I see NO point in that, NO reason for it WHATSOEVER in a fantasy Role Playing Game whose primary reason for existing is that players are trying to save the world from great evils. HOWEVER, if there was an event such as this in which ALL players would/could benefit from something that called for PvP, I would put aside my hatred of it & participate because others would get something they liked or desired. That's called "giving a little something for the greater good", but I think perhaps you can't understand a concept like that.
You are SELFISH and that is all there is to it. Why do people like you even play Massively Multi-player games? I'd really like to know, because this type of game generally requires players to work together at various times, but from your self-serving post (and the similar self-serving posts of others in this & the other thread) I can't honestly see how any of you can manage that.
Back to the topic at hand. I also am in the camp that believes we'll get the pet & mount (we already have the pet) and a polite message that we didn't quite make the 100% but here's a sale on that house for 72 hours! I also think that it's been stacked against us no matter what Gina or the other CMs say - why give away something they can get a lot of real money for? Since I have no crowns again until November, I guess it's a good thing that I continue to grind out writs & Summerset quests every day so that I will eventually have enough gold to purchase my first house in Alinor. I already have the achieve to buy the Vvardenfell house, but that one is even more expensive than the Alinor house. I'm hoping to have enough gold by Thanksgiving.
Oh and yes I have done NA & will do EU tonight.

yeah man, jumped in to vivec as soon as I reached level 10 while I was doing the pathfinder quest in summerset (still have a few POIs to finish)...
I love playing non vet characters...trying to figure out how to stay alive and kill folks with random gear...little spell or weapon damage and limited access to all you abilities is a blast...
not having any cp makes it even more challenging...unfortunately though during the time I would be able to play it's a freaking ghost town over there...
I have all 10 character slots filled on the NA server...there's still some race/class/weapon combos I'd like to try...I can see having some pvp characters on the EU server....maybe play them a bit on the weekends...

Well the way I see it, meeting that objective must have some kind of financial significance for ZOS. Nothing is free in the world. If something is being offered for free by a business, there is a way for them to make it back. I'm guessing the numbers will be used to please someone doing financial backing for the game.

You dont have to buy anything to play on eu server if your na. Just jump on eu on the load screen and your good ro go. U do have to make a new character tho.
