    Not my thing.

Helping other people get a treat isn’t your thing eh?

Personally I think the mount and pet are ugly and I don’t like McMansions in games or real life.

AND ESO rarely does a community wide event so I feel like participating in it will encourage them to do more, maybe even for something I like.

I'm not going to contribute to other's addiction. How many houses, furniture, costumes, mounts, etc. do you need?

I'd rather see large scale in-game community events focusing on combat and rewarding rare gear or items (not just cosmetics).

I don't have any houses. If I want to collect mounts or pets that is MY business. From what you wrote, I guess you like to PvP? I see NO point in that, NO reason for it WHATSOEVER in a fantasy Role Playing Game whose primary reason for existing is that players are trying to save the world from great evils. HOWEVER, if there was an event such as this in which ALL players would/could benefit from something that called for PvP, I would put aside my hatred of it & participate because others would get something they liked or desired. That's called "giving a little something for the greater good", but I think perhaps you can't understand a concept like that.

You are SELFISH and that is all there is to it. Why do people like you even play Massively Multi-player games? I'd really like to know, because this type of game generally requires players to work together at various times, but from your self-serving post (and the similar self-serving posts of others in this & the other thread) I can't honestly see how any of you can manage that.

Back to the topic at hand. I also am in the camp that believes we'll get the pet & mount (we already have the pet) and a polite message that we didn't quite make the 100% but here's a sale on that house for 72 hours! I also think that it's been stacked against us no matter what Gina or the other CMs say - why give away something they can get a lot of real money for? Since I have no crowns again until November, I guess it's a good thing that I continue to grind out writs & Summerset quests every day so that I will eventually have enough gold to purchase my first house in Alinor. I already have the achieve to buy the Vvardenfell house, but that one is even more expensive than the Alinor house. I'm hoping to have enough gold by Thanksgiving.

Oh and yes I have done NA & will do EU tonight.

I've now done PC, PS4 and Xbox One on the NA servers.

I even bought Summerset for the Xbox for the occasion, as that's the console version I played only briefly before I got a PS4 Pro and got a taste of that 4K goodness ;)

During the week I plan to do it all again on all three platforms on the EU server (almost done on PC).

If we don't get the house, it won't be because of lack of effort on my end ;)

There are people that still think they only need to do it on their account once, not per server.

Ive been trying to get the word out when people ask or say it.

omw to EU server to add one more to it.

howdy general, you gonna go check out vivec when you hit level 10?

in the eu? you play over there too?

yeah man, jumped in to vivec as soon as I reached level 10 while I was doing the pathfinder quest in summerset (still have a few POIs to finish)...

I love playing non vet characters...trying to figure out how to stay alive and kill folks with random gear...little spell or weapon damage and limited access to all you abilities is a blast...

not having any cp makes it even more challenging...unfortunately though during the time I would be able to play it's a freaking ghost town over there...

I have all 10 character slots filled on the NA server...there's still some race/class/weapon combos I'd like to try...I can see having some pvp characters on the EU server....maybe play them a bit on the weekends...

I've finished both servers now, and I wanted to thank a lot of helpful people on the NA server with this. It was just great to see and read how many people offered transport and other help, I've got even some gifts to be able to start my character quickly. And the help was available everywhere for everyone yesterday.

Again, thanks people for the warm welcome on the NA server for the EU players <3

(PS: will probably continue to develop my char on the NA, maybe this is was ZOS wanted to achieve with this action B) )

I really don't understand how anybody can be excited about getting a horse or a pet that literally everyone else will also get.

how sad is it for you that you cannot enjoy something becasue its awesome and can only enjoy it if other people don't have it.

its a beautiful house, its an adorable pet and a fun looking mount. it doesn't have to be exclusive or difficult to obtain in order to be exciting and enjoyable.

I don't like the pet nor the mount, and I prefer houses that you can hope to adequately furnish, still I did the achievement on both servers (created my firs char on NA for this event) simply because I like the idea of collaborative community events that aren't about combat, be it PVE or PVP, so I hope that this one is successful enough to motivate Zos to run other events like this in the future

I'll do my bit starting tuesday afternoon. My display died three weeks ago and I can't get a new one until tuesday.
Cellphoning the web isn't much enjoyable. Got the achievement on my oldest account earlier this year, so I only need two more on pc eu. Will probably do it three times on pc na as well.

They should have made it a quest with a more accessible completion indicator. I met a lot of people that THOUGHT they had it done but when it was explained about going into achievements to double check, it turns out many had missed one.
So I would encourage everyone to get the message out, especially to newer players, on going into achievements and checking. There could be a large amount of people that did the event and have missed a location.

(myself included, altho i dont even have summerset yet for that reason)

Other people just don't care too much for any of those rewards in general so they won't do it lol.
Then the rest of these people are those who don't want anything that isn't unique or exclusive. The "if everyone has it i dont want it" mindset.

That's me. However i just grabbed one of my alts, who already had the Summerset starter wayshrine, and run around for the POIs. I didn't complete any other content, so my chronological questing isn't even disrupted.

@brandonv516 Well, if ZOS makes a similar BG event, you can be sure, that I'll be there, spending most of my time dead, but helping the community - although I passionately hate PvP. If they makes a dungeon event, I'll queue, although I avoid them.
But thanks to reminding us that some people doesn't want to help to others. Oh, and you can be sure that such events won't give you any extra gear, only costumes, mementos, pets and mounts.

    PC-EU

The Place by Tony Walsh Please Read
This is the place in the North West of England

It’s ace, it’s the best and the songs that we sing

From the stands, from our bands set the whole planet shaking

Our inventions are legends! There’s nowt we can’t make and

So we make brilliant music. We make brilliant bands

We make goals that make souls leap from seats in the stands

And we make things from steel and we make things from cotton

And we make people laugh, take the mick summat rotten

And we make you at home and we make you feel welcome

And we make summat happen, we can’t seem to help it

And if you’re looking for history then yes, we’ve a wealth

But the Manchester way is to make it yourself

And make us a record, a new number one

And make us a brew while you’re up, love. Go on!

And make us feel proud that you’re winning the league

And make us sing louder and make us believe it

that this is the place that has helped shape the world

And that this the place where a Manchester girl

Name of Emmeline Pankhurst from the streets of Moss Side

Led a Suffragette City with sisterhood pride

And this is the place with appliance of science

We’re on it, atomic, we strut with defiance

In the face of a challenge we always stand tall

Mancunians in union delivered it all

Such as housing and libraries, and health, education

And unions and co-ops, the first railway station

So we’re sorry! Bear with us! We invented commuters!

But we hope you forgive us – we invented computers!

And this is the place Henry Royce strolled with Rolls

And we’ve rocked and we’ve rolled with our own Northern Soul

And so this is the place to do business, then dance

Where go-getters and goal setters know they’ve a chance

And this is the place where we first played as kids

And me Mam lived and died here, she loved it she did

And this is the place where our folks came to work

Where they struggled in puddles, they hurt in the dirt

And they built us a city. They built us these towns

And they coughed on the cobbles to the deafening sound

Of the steaming machines and the screaming of slaves

They were scheming for greatness, they dreamed to their graves

And they left us a spirit, they left us a vibe

The Mancunian Way to survive and to thrive

And to work and to build, to connect and create and

Greater Manchester’s greatness is keeping it great

And so this is the place now we’ve kids of our own

Some are born here, some drawn here but we all call it home

And they’ve covered the cobbles, but they’ll never defeat

All the dreamers and schemers who still teem through these streets

Because this is a place that has been through some hard times

Oppressions, recessions, depressions and dark times

But we keep fighting back with Greater Manchester spirit

Northern grit, northern wit in Greater Manchester’s lyrics

And there’s hard times again in these streets of our city

But we won’t take defeat and we don’t want your pity

Because this a place where we stand strong together

With a smile on our face, Mancunians Forever

And we’ve got this* as the place where a team with a dream (*Forever Manchester)

Can get funding and something to help with their scheme

Because this is the place that understands your grand plans

We don’t do No Can Do, we just stress Yes We Can!

Forever Manchester’s a charity for people round ‘ere

You can fundraise, donate. You can be a volunteer

You can live local, give local. We can honestly say

We do charity differently, that Mancunian Way

And we fund local kids, and we fund local teams

We support local dreamers to work for their dreams

We support local groups and the great work they do

So can you …help us help… local people like you?

Because this is the place in our hearts, in our homes

Because this is the place that’s a part of our bones

‘Cos Greater Manchester gives us such strength from the fact

That this is the place. We should give something back.

Always remember. Never forget. Forever Manchester.

Well the way I see it, meeting that objective must have some kind of financial significance for ZOS. Nothing is free in the world. If something is being offered for free by a business, there is a way for them to make it back. I'm guessing the numbers will be used to please someone doing financial backing for the game.

I enjoy it a lot as well - I don't even have a max level ESO character yet after all these years (top is my level 43 Sorc ;) but heading onto the EU servers to stat new characters has been a blast - it's always fun taking that raw powerless thing and using all the things you know to make them as functional as you can. And then you realise you have no costumes on the EU server, so you look like you stumbled out of a vintage MMO from 1999 ;)

There's a reason why I have something like 17 max level characters in WoW - I love the experience of building a character :)

If 100% means 100% of the people that own Summerset then no chance this will happen when 25% of the people that own it have quit. On the other hand if the 100% is of people that have played in, oh say in the last two months then maybe.

This has been answered several times already. No. "100%" does not mean 100% of players who own Summerset.
The 100% is simply ZOS's mysterious target-number. No one knows the number except ZOS.
