Well the way I see it, meeting that objective must have some kind of financial significance for ZOS. Nothing is free in the world. If something is being offered for free by a business, there is a way for them to make it back. I'm guessing the numbers will be used to please someone doing financial backing for the game.

It would probably be more financially expedient for them not to give away a very large free house and just charge 16K-20K crowns for it. Lots of people were already planning on buying that house. Your protest will do nothing to stop that.
Youre just being petty and vindictive just for the sake of it and taking it out on the playerbase that had very little if anything to do with the PTS patch notes decision
I won't be shamed! My protest will go on, even if it's a solitary one! I may be a drop in the bucket, inconsequential, etc. and ZOS' goals will be met, but that is exactly why I must protest. I'm nothing, my voice isn't heard, and it doesn't matter. If that's the case then I must not participate. Doing so is a betrayal to my existence, my essence, myself, and worst of all: my conviction.
Wait, it's only a game...
...
All the more to not betray myself and my conviction, aha! Now I must ask my friends to join my protest, no, my struggle!
I really don't understand how anybody can be excited about getting a horse or a pet that literally everyone else will also get.
yea seeing the level right now and things some people are saying, Im starting to doubt we will get the house
Ill hold off final judement until Sunday but I dunno
If there are a lot people purposely not doing it because they dont like the patch notes and think that by not doing it they will somehow hurt ZoS financially, which is absurd because instead of giving a free house way to most players, a lot will just buy it as they were intending to do.
.

EU took me about 2 hours as I had not even started. Was on foot most of the time.
Finished NA on the 18th Pacific time zone did EU on the 19th.

Agree, there will be always a reason to want more. Nevertheless I'll also enjoy furnishing it myself.
You're assuming a three day average will continue at the same pace, without considering work/school days versus weekend days. Not over-thinking, but over-simplifying perhaps.
I agree with your concern though

This event is not about protest. This is about fun and reaching 100%. There are enough threads about balance changes (including those that I created).
We don't like the PTS patch notes, so what? Don't we still love the game?

But there is also the concern that people who accually care about the house will do it as early as possible right? Meaning most people who had the abity and cared already did it. Unless I'm also overthinking lmao

Community Progress:
September 18 - 20% default community- progress meter (pre-event) from players who already had the achievement
September 19 - 20% no increase because the event hadn't officially started yet
September 20 - Day 1 - 35% (+15% for 9/18 and 9/19)
September 21 - Day 2 - 42% (+7% for 9/20)
September 22 - Day 3 - X%
September 23 - Day 4 - X%
September 24 - Day 5 - X%
September 25 - Day 6 - X%
September 26 - Day 7 - X%
September 27 - Day 8 - X%
September 28 - Day 9 - X%
Summerfall Event ends on Friday, September 28 at 10:00AM EDT.
I've already done my part and got the Summerset Pathfinder achievement across several accounts on both PC/NA and PC/EU.
It is still early into the event, but so far the community is averaging about 7%-8% per day, aside for the default 20% starting point. If this rate doesn't improve and spike upwards, then we won't reach the Psijic Grand Villa in time.
20 (default 20%) + 22 (% gained in the past 3 days) = 42% (current %).
42 (current %) + [7 (7% earned daily) x 7 (7 days left)] = 91%.
Even if it was 8% gained daily on average, we would still only be at 98%.
Anyone a Statistician, or am I overthinking?
It kind of doesn't make sense that this would count on both NA and EU. None at all.
Lots of people will straight up either refuse to do it on the other server or have 0 idea that this would count. And that would compromise the numbers as well.
Where's the official statement on this? Cause I refuse to believe it unless directly confirmed by anyone from ZOS.

So I'm still wondering I have already gotten the achievement on NA Server, will getting the achievement on an EU Server character count towards the goal? I'm sure I am not the only one who is wondering this. I just want to be able to help more if possible.
Yes, it's once per account per platform & megaserver. So you could technically do it up to 6 times (3 platforms of 2 megaservers each).
