Price Check

I'm planning on selling Iron ore, Jute and raw maple in the guild store, but i don't know how much to price it. 5-10 gpu is looking like the going price, closer to the low end.

How much would you pay for these items?
Do you find there is a market for the refined resource as well? and what are refined jute, iron and maple going for?

I imagine the price will go up as people begin to get more gold, and use it to supplement an alt crafter.

Edited because my initial estimate was WAY too high, and to add the second question.

I've been trying to sell them for 2x the price the NPC vendor offers, which means 4 each for jute if I remeber correctly. Still didnt sell, and earlier I just flogged 600 jute into the npc shop at 200 a stack since it was taking up space.

In my opinion 1.5x the price of the NPC vendor is a fair price

Perhaps, if you could buy these items from a vendor. But if one wants 100 jute, ore or maple NOW then they'd have to harvest it all, or, buy it from a player.
It takes a long time to come by that much material through exploration.

15 gpu is probably too much (i suggested that before looking at the actual vendor sell price), but 4 gold per raw material is a pretty low price in my opinion.

How much have people actually been selling it for?

Currently very few players have any money, and rich alts don't exist as of yet. Iron sells better as far as I understand, around 6-7 per unit. It takes a long time to collect a stack, but the problem is that so few will buy while many wants to sell to buy inventory upgrades,

I've been buying iron for 6g each... 15-25 is laughable.

I've been selling iron ores for 5-6g each. I think it's pretty fair price for the buyer and the seller.
