On live servers, Light Attacks deal little more than twice the damage of Heavy Attacks on the tooltip. The only change to HAs was 60% damage buff which still doesnt add up to LAs on live. On top of that HAs cant be buffed by Empower (40%), their area is frontal cone which makes it easy to avoid and they can be interrupted.

Overload bar is going to be way better. Now you will be able to use your weapon abilities as well and animation cancel the light attacks. HUGE buff to LA builds hehe. Not so much for those who just used that ultimate to get additional skills.

Yes, ironically it was the LAs that were over performing not the 3rd bar.

The nerf to the damage of the LAs, puts them in check imo.

Do I agree with the removal of the 3rd bar aspect? Not really. It wasn't overperforming and it was a class identifying part of the skill.

But it's ZOS. Each update results in wild, drastic changes to gameplay. I've stopped trying to fight it or even reason through a lot of the nerfs at this point.

AND an ADDITIONAL ultimate on the overload bar (I always ran resto ult on the overload bar for example and you got off the overload bar again by pressing a weapon ability) ... that thing has been around for 4 years and most of the good pvpers used it to their advantage, yeah its a borderline exploit but you kinda needed it when sorc had alot of good skills.
Next patch with all the sorc skills being *** you wouldnt need a 3rd bar anyways so idk if its a nerf/buff or anything at all.

Sorcs have lost their 3rd bar, magDKs lost half the features on Power Lash, Templars lost too long a list to recount... wonder which class is next in line to lose its uniqueness as part of ZOS' homogenisation masterplan.
