Clearly zos forgot that block casting also uses shields. It is too easy to throw a kite shield on yourself while making minimal sacrifice in terms of dps itemisation and rotation. This applies to both PvE and PvP scenario.

The addition of cast time to blocking makes that choice between damage output and survivability more deliberate and strategic. This also conforms to lore as it is unrealistic to grab a shield hoistered on your back and be blocking within a split second.

    Blocking cost stamina and while blocking stamina regen is 0. Are you suggesting, while a shield is active, magic regen should be 0?

    While we're at it, we need at least a fifteen second delay between weapon bar swaps. Have you ever actually tried sheathing your sword, getting your arm out of the damn straps of your shield, then putting your arms back through the straps another way so that the shield rests on your back, remembering where you put down your staff when you entered the room ('cause honestly, it doesn't fit on your back), going over and picking it up, and getting back into a fighting stance?

    Takes at least 15 seconds.

    Potions need a cast time as well. When interrupted, the potion should break and you take bleed damage from the shattered glass.

    Why don't all of you complaining about the changes just post in one thread? Do you ,sorcs, really need to make a new one every hour, day, etc?

    If you want to be heard make one post and keep it at the top. Making all these posts just gets old. Make one giant thread to vent in so the forum isn't cluttered up with 10 or 20.

    Nah, they just have to learn to play, rather than relying on shields to cheese mechanics.
