Quitting: what happens to crafting bag?

For the first time since beta I'm considering cancelling my plus account and moving on. The pts changes are just too much this time.

So what happens to our crafting bag when we cancel? In the event the Devs come to their senses and I return later: will my stuff still be available? Or does it get deleted?

As far as I'm aware, it stays in the bag, you just can't add more to it, but you can use whats still in there.

Nothing, everything you've put into your bag remains there until you take it out.

You can't add to it, and stuff you use for crafting is pulled from the Craft Bag first. So I may have stocked up a years worth of writ mats in the last ESO+ trials...

Maybe I can add one more piece of information:

Your doubled bank space and housing space remains doubled for the items already in there. Just take care, if you take things out, you can't add new ones till you dropped below the normal max.

Transmutation crystals 101-200 will be safe, too. You just can't refill them over 100.

your mats will stay in the bag and you can still interact with the crafting bag and remove stuff. Once you remove it though it won't go back in or any mats your get after you cancel.

If you quit, why do you care? Just give them away or donate to guild bank.
My theory still stands, the eso population is getting too big, their server can’t handle it and won’t upgrade server, so gotta pis some people off quick.
Or Todd Howard asked eso to pis people off so they can get on his fallout 76.
Think outside the box, things are never what it seems.

Stuff stays in the bag. You just can't add any more until you resub. You can take stuff out or craft with the stuff in there though.

I subbed for a couple years then stopped. My craft bag has hundreds, even thousands of mats. Even though I have not subbed for over a year I still have enough crafting mats in the locked bag and don't think I will ever need again. Now I use an add on called junk buster to instantly destroy all crafting mats that drop so that I can continue to not subscribe and enjoy DLC free random dungeons.

My actual original bag (the actual in game animated one) disappeared after I unsubbed a year ago.

My characters just end up wiggling their hand by their groin, I've noticed others too (don't know if it's something missing client side but I recently did a complete re-install and it still hasn't returned). I do get the fancy craft bag to rummage around in when ZOS give ESO+ payers crates and the non-sub peasants get + access for the weekend, but then it's back to the old invisible sack when it ends.

Can you imagine how much Alkahest you could win?

(With me, the big winner would be a fisherman. I have over 10k of each of the regular fishing baits.)

They care because they may return to the game later on. I doubt the servers are overloaded with players. Bots maybe.
