Has signing up for an account wide alliance a month at a time been discussed?

Since you can pretty much have any race in any alliance anyways...Would it be possible when you sign into your 30day campaign it just has you pick your alliance you want then and that carries over to all your toons? You could also have the 7day that would lock you into an alliance for 7days...It just seems since we can have characters in all alliances at the same time there seems to be allot of shady stuff going on, but if you could only pick one alliance for the entirety of your campaign that might help? Its just a random thought and I haven't completely thought it out but it would still allow people to switch alliances (just after the campaign they picked was up)?

Nope.

Because any player can wait to choose the Alliance 29 days into the campaign, PvP for their tier 3 rewards on the Alliance that’s winning, and then log out for another month.

also:
i hope they make it so we are Locked into our campaign, and any new comers have to wait till the new month to join.
if we sign up for a campaign we should be locked in and assigned there.

Can't you do that now with your characters? Could you not have a system if you don't pick an alliance at the start of a campaign it defaults to your last chosen alliance? Or puts you automatically into the lower population alliance? Also, don't you get that anyways with players having characters in each alliance? These are just random thoughts...just trying to get a better understanding of the dynamics and thoughts.

Why on earth would you want to stop people from playing on a different alliance on a different character? This is a video game not a real war. Sometimes i am playing on AD and a friend will ask to play on DC so i will switch so i can play with my friend.

Locking a player to one alliance for 30 days is one of the worst ideas i have ever heard. Some of you take this alliance loyalty thing wayyy too seriously.
