Shadow Purification (Suggestion) //Shadow Image Buff //

shadow-image.pngShadow Image Buff
Shadow Purification - A buff to the Nightblade class that alters the class ability "Shadow Image" to remove one or more negative effects when a user teleports to their shadow. This modification would restore some well-deserved balance after the Incap nerf and it would enhance the current combat mechanics allowing for a far more enjoyable experience.

Interesting idea but I think with purge available to everyone it's a long shot at best.

Purge in general is not a good idea. What would be better and make some sense would be root and possibly snare removal, maybe 2s immunity like roll dodge.

I admit my nightblade is only level 14 but why wouldn't you use purge in the absence of a class "cleanse" ability? Genuine question because I've found it very useful on other toons.

Reason is simple, due to the minor/major buff system the amount of debuffs that are applied to you is stunning, each skill can put even 3 negative effects on you. To be effective purge would need to remove at least 3 debuffs at a time otherwise you would have to spam it, and this I think would be a bit OP when combined with such great escape tool like shadow image, you don't want to make it so strong that it will be treated like rune cage of sorcs that has been nerfed into the ground.

On the other hand removing just movement debuffs on teleport skill:
    1. Makes sense as it's about repositioning, nothing more.
    2. Ensures that when used it always works the same (by removing the same debuffs not the random one)
    3. Doesn't make it to strong. Like if you have on you 2 haunting curses and furry, you will still blow up if you won't defend your self.

Please leave the shadow image alone. Don't give ideas so ZOS please. It is fine as the way it is now. Don't wanna see ZOS attach an op buff/cleanse to it then a month later nerfs the skill altogether because of all the forum QQs and rending the skill useless.

DONT FIX THE THINGS THAT AREN'T BROKEN.

Good points for sure but do we really just ignore or heal through the debuffs and hope to burst the opponent down?

Stamblades could use an escape from mark target. Perhaps instead of removing negative effects it could just remove mark target.
