For Summerfall: What's the fastest way to get to Artaeum for those who didn't start Psijic quests?

So, how and on what stage do I become eligible to enter Artaeum?
I used to be an adventurer like you, then I got the ESO on my hard drive...

    that is very much correct. teleporting to guildy or friend works perfectly well. you won't be able to start psijic quest chain, but you WILL be able to explore the island.

    and yeah, it doesn't take a lot of time to finish the quest chain, its just the initial series of tasks to help Raz. I just mean if time is of the essence and/or you are not very keen on doing that chain on an alt on a server you don't normally play on - porting to someone works fine. group member also works and I have a feeling we might see a few people creating groups just to port people around.

    It takes exactly one quest to get access to Arteum. I'll never understand why people who don't want to quest choose this game out of all their gaming options.

    EDIT: Apologies. I didn't realize people were going to be wanting to do this on NA and EU servers. Looking at it that way, I'd probably not want to bother doing the quest for a character I'm not actually going to play, either.

    If you talk to Raz outside of Shimmerene (near where you come out of the tutorial if you start a new character, otherwise south from the Shimmerene wayshrine along the road), do his first mission and the next one, you get sent to Arteum. The portal you use for this is unclickable until you get 'attuned' in the second mission. I haven't tried it, but I suspect the 'port to guildmate/friend' won't work to get you in without the attunement.

    I've tested this with 7 alts, you do not need to have done any quests that leads you up to arteaum.

    The initial Summerset quest to get to Artaeum really doesn’t take that long.

    it works without attunement. its how so many people, me included farmed Traitor's vault wardrobe room on multiple alts pre nerf. you can even have Traitor's vault daily shared with you, without having to do attunement. it won't show up for you on quest giver, but it can be shared.

    It will. Though you can't pick up the quest from not-Hircine to join the Psijic Order and run around sealing breaches until you've completed the quest that would unlock Artaeum.

    Not sure who tested it, or how they did it, but they were mistaken. I've ported there multiple times without completing the quest. Though, granted, there's not much reason to go there before starting the main quest and unlocking it normally.

    Oh, right, the addon blocked it. Actually, fun trivia, the Skyshards addon has a nasty bug with Mirkmire, where it will cough up an error when you try to drop down a tier on the map menu.

    I tested it, with a few randoms early on, you can get to do the pathfinder but cannot get the Questline by this route
    to get that you have to do the first 3 steps of 'The Queens Decree' and get attuned

    Porting should work fine, since there is a shrine to travel to and from.

    XBOX NA need a jump to EU server to Summerset and Artaeum :)
    Lady Lagerthaa USA time about 6pm tonight, Favor returned for a jump on the NA server if needed.
