Really great job ZOS at balancing the patch notes, add as much as recovery sets as you want but you are killing if not already destroyed completely any magicka builds for future especially talking about PvP here.

    I appreciate how much this patch sucks for shield-stacking sorcs or anyone who depended on them for survivability, but its not like magicka builds are completely dead in PVP.

    No they are not, just the ones that use LA AND ARE NOT HEALERS are dead.

    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

    Speak for yourself. They nerfed my NB healer severely.

    HA magblade. Don't use cloak. Do use healing ward but that's broken anyway. Not bothered by any of the changes.


    @Brian_Wheeler - Will BleedOblivion damage be getting nerfed? Because at the moment, they are OP - if you stick with the upcoming nerfs to shields, I'd strongly urge you to consider changes to Bleed, Oblivion damage?

    Maybe adding Protection from either of those damage types to specific shield types? E.g. Bleeding protection becomes part of Conjured/Hardened/Empowered Ward, Oblivion damage protection becomes part of Annulment/Dampen Magic/Harness Magicka?

    magicka pvp is dead except some zerg healer templar whos gonna be wearing heavy armor as well, idk maybe the whole meta switches to heavy armor damage dealers in pvp and nb bombers being only viable class build with full light xD

    I'm not so confident that even HA magblade will survive these changes, although it's a very strong spec at the moment. The build depends pretty heavily on rolling HoTs to work, and losing the minor vitality from swallow + the path nerfs is pretty huge.

    They're definitely not as affected as Sorc, though. Sorcs are literally defenseless if this change goes live.

    I guess you should have specified you only meant 1v1, 1vX, small group PVPers, not people who play large scale organized group PVP in Cyrodiil...

    I mean, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Magicka builds disappear completely from the face of Cyrodiil as everyone and their mother jumps ship to stamina. Maybe.

    Unless you are willing to be a mindless sycophant and/or coddle others due to their insecurities prepare to be harrased by the Orwellian enforcers on these forums. You should also try to refrain from using any words more complex than those used by a small child due to the fact that said enforcers have made it clear that their vocabulary pool is aenemic.

    I hate to break it to you but I don't use wards and wear impreg on a light armor mag blade and I still have numerous issues with this patch.

    If you are a PvP healer just gotta roll with the punches. You're in a group anyways

    My MagDK looks over and nods cheering his ale in agreeance. My DK will still be my fav.. Magicka is never going to die!
