Summerfall Question?

So I just got back into the game and I havent played Summerset yet but today I saw something about summerfall. No details have been released that I am aware of. My Birthday is Saturday and I plan on buying summerset will I still be able to take part in this event or will I be "to late"?

We don't know yet sadly as ZOS hasn't released any information. Normally events are a week or two though.

You might also have the advantage that Summerset could be on sale during the event (they've done this with other events)

summerfall event info, every pic I seen tells we would hear more about it today, nothing on the website, and nothing ingame?

anyone have any clue to when it starts?

ZOS tends to operate on U.S. time zones. It is only just now Sept. 18th for the east coast as the sun slowly rises. Their social media posts said something to the effect of "find out how on Sept. 18th". So, I doubt it starts today, probably just the announcement/details and maybe a Thursday start.

I would not expect info until, at minimum, 2-4 hours from now when it becomes more of a late morning/midday U.S. time.

FYI It's currently 10am on the US East coast, 8am on the West coast.

So afternoon NA time is going to be late night/early morning (as in around midnight UTC) for Europe and later for people further East. If you're not in the Americas and you're waiting for info it may be best to check before going to sleep and/or first thing tomorrow morning rather than hanging around online today.

Generally a week plus has been frequent, but also, when events went as much as 2 weeks or more, it was often because of some sort of oops and ZOS extended the event as a "sorry 'bout that". There have also been a couple events that were shorter than a week as well, although that's less frequent, but for instance, the latest free crate giveaway and this year's Jesters Festival, which was uncharacteristically short at 5 days.

Bottom line, it's all a guessing game til they announce definitive dates...

The potential sale price of Summerset is also a good point, OP. Something like that is sure to be part of their event announcement, expected later today. That type of content is already in place in the game, so once you buy it, it's just a matter of unlocking it on your account. I wouldn't expect that you'd need to download anything. The only thing you might miss would be if they announced today that the event starts tomorrow. Then you'd miss the first few days of the event. Then all you'd need is another server glitch to prompt ZOS to extend the event again <g>.

Info should be out any time now, Been refreshing the main website and their fb page every few mins waiting..I was gonna buy thag house, But if its free im gonna grind til I get it!
