    Why did they murder Evasion? Why? Pvp whiners? Why? They’ve killed every newb tank using Hist Bark. They’ve killed every non dk, non Warden tank. Who asked for this? No one asked for this.


    Minor/Major Evasion: These buffs no longer grant a passive chance to dodge. They now reduce the damage you take from area of effect attacks by 5/25%. All abilities that previously granted Minor or Major Evasion have been converted to this new effect, and the Blade Cloak ability now grants Major Evasion.

    This change affects the abilities Blur, Evasion, Deceptive Predator, Gossamer, Grace of Gloom, Adept Rider, Hist Bark, and Spectre’s Eye.

    As noted above, we spent time fixing issues with dodge, with the goal of making sure that you only dodge abilities/projectiles when you are actually actively dodging. Passive dodge goes against that, so we removed it from the game.

    So what they just admitted to was they couldn’t fix it so they removed it. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot you guys. this is so wrong.

    I saw this, I can't believe they went through college and don't know what Evade/Evasion means.

    I agree. Just last night I was stoked over my Nocturnal Favor and now what? What do I have to look forward to?

    Wow...just some terrible changes in there for sorcs.

    I guess I can hope resistances being calculated differently for shield helps balance everything out, but this just seems like another push down the wrong direction for the class.

    Is it just me or the new Spell Strategist set seems incredibly strong?

    Spell Strategist (Light)
    2: Max Magicka
    3: Spell Damage
    4: Spell Damage
    5: When you deal damage with a Light Attack, you place a mark over your target for 5 seconds, granting you 500 Spell Damage against your marked target. This effect can occur every 4 seconds.

    500 spell damage just for light attacking. Siroria at full stack gives 600 spell damage. Unless I'm missing something, this is broken strong...

    Isn't there a rule that states Magdens MUST be nerfed once a PTS cycle? :D:D:D
    Sorcs are crying about shields that everyone else has to deal with but yet, Madgens have the worst DPS in the game at the moment and yet they are the ones in which recieved the damage nerf.

    Zo$ doesn't understand the idea of P2W classes in the least.

What could possibly go wrong with balance?

    Who is on the balance team making these decisions? They have no sense of balance and probably need to step into PvP as a mag user this patch and see how well that works out for them. Mag is dead.

    I should also add, the idea that someone was hiding behind shields with proc sets I've only seen one class out of the mag specs do successfully: mag NB. And the shield changes should affect them the least!

    *** that, I've mained sorcerer and nothing else for 2 years previously from DK that I played from the release (when I quit and returned I wanted to start fresh). Nerfing shields is the end for me, whats the point in even slotting it if it has a cast time, I'm dead from an ability by the time it casts, who does this help, whats the *** point?

    Its single target, for PVP duels yeah, but when will you be actually doing that? I'll help you there, only like 5% of times.

    And as for PVE, is weaker than siroria, but defintely usefull if you are in trials and what you care most is the bosses, in the rest of the fights will be useless (mobs, adds, etc)

    The only scenario where I see it being powerfull is VAS as you have only 3 bosses and you actually target one at the time.

    LOL did they really do that? They nerfed warhorn just so warden can give something unique to the group?

    I'm pretty happy about some of the changes like templars can repent the same corpse, and buffs to things like magdk heal. Warden bear got nerfed, and it seems really weird that they nerfed Warhorn.
