Have you tried out blazing shield build?

What do you think of it? Seems like it's pretty unreliable for me since you can damage with only one skill (everyone else gets less powerful. But in the over hand it got to be have a good survivabilty and it's just interesting to try as it work in non-classic way.

It was effective, if a bit boring and dependent on your opponent being a potato, way back when before it was nerfed.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

Blazing shield is still very viable for pve. PVP it's dead

    Pvp skill i think?
As a pve tank, i dont use it, i dont block im a dead man in hard content, such as latest dlc dungeons.

A Blazing Shield build is about as exciting as building max health to a DK for strong Obsidian Shields, a Warden for strong Impaling Shards/Arctic Blast, and a NB for strong Dark Cloak heals.

They're only very situational and effective when you've got a group of PUGlings on you. To be honest: for PVP it is tanking. You're drawing PUG aggro away from resources/objectives. But there's more effective ways of doing it.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

Blazing Shield used to be a decent PvP spec. Then someone died to a magplar in Cyrodiil so they zerfed it into "don't waste a skillpoint" territory.
