I hate to say this, but if you really want to block someone in this game, play on PC. The whole coms setup on console makes it almost impossible to ignore someone completely. PC, just a right click and you never hear from them again. And, since voice chat is third party, for good or bad, it is easy to ignore someone as you can be real selective about you voice chat with. Plus, PC players seem to not have this issue, at least from what I can tell.

Sorry your getting a bad experience. Short of jumping platforms, turn off voice.

Blocking people on PS4 is broken if you block them you are still able to see what the other person says I've made lots of post trying to get zos to fix the blocking system on PS4 and they don't care I've heard racist comments sexual comments from people I had blocked year's ago and am still able to see them harassing me and other's zos won't fix it either I know I've asked them for years now still no reply

On Xbox its pretty simple to ban and mute people sometime I have to logout and reset my box for it to actually mute in game whispers just another reason I didn't get PS4

Anyways it sucks that people are harassing you and you shouldn't have to block anyone in the first place if we were just more kind to each other

If they send you a /whisper, /say, /yell, or whatever and it shows up in the chat box, open up the chat box so it is full screen, then go up to the chat line from that person and select it. One of the options should be "Block". I would think that this would put them on the ignore list.

Edit: I think, but am not sure, that this is what was referred to earlier as blocking through PSN.

The block option only brings up their PSN profile to block them on PSN only
