2 Item bonus stat difference?

K so I made a Magnus' Gift Staff, and the 2 item bonus is one thousand, one hundred and something (I can't remember) Magicka. This was using a level 43 character. But then I put the staff in the bank and got it out with a Champion level character and the 2 item bonus is now only 1045 Magicka. How come a higher level character gets less Magicka from the 2 item bonus?

    Low level character's gear is battle scaled. The stats on it will be better the closer you are to it's level.

    Short explanation: It's about the difference in char and item level, nevertheless, gear matching your char level is best, no matter what.

    That's not the stats, that's the enchantment and the set bonus.

    The raw weapon damage or armor will always be best if gear matches char.

    If char and gear level differ much, the enchantment and set boni can look pretty OP, but either the primary stats look depressing or the gear can't be used, so don't waste your time thinking about that.

    If the staff is a CP150 staff than the magicka drops a bit on a champion level character (CP160 > CP150).

    Well I didn't say what enchantment was on it, only the Set (Magnus' Gift). But on the level 43 character the 2 item bonus was better, but I guess that must be OP because he wouldn't be able to use it, not being high level enough.

    Yeah I think I'm hurting my head thinking about it so I'll just accept that my Champion Level character using the Champion 150 staff will only get 1045 Magicka for it. I've got over 40,000 Magicka anyway so I guess that'll do lol...

    Champion level character is no longer battle scaled. On this character you see the actual raw value. On your 43 you had the inflated battle scaled number.

    with 150cp spent in the blue tree, you with get an extra 10% more max stats, leaving you with 1149 total magic from that set bonus anyways. you are not losing anything.

    So where does it actually say that? I know on the Champion Points screen it says something like "This sign gives you more Magicka and does some other ***" but it doesn't tell me actual useful information such as the extra 10% stats. I find more and more in this game that I can't actually find the information in the game that I need or want and have to ask the forums.

    ZOS is aware of this and the effects are intended, which brings information awareness closer to its intended purpose thus mirroring the proposed changes to bring magicka shield users to their knees therefore further lining their heads up with their opponents pelvic regions.

    it says "increase your magicka" right in the champion point menu. it does not say by how much though, though it is really easy to test how much. you get a full 20% at cp 300. then it stops. the only max stats this 20% doesnt apply to is 5 piece sets like necropotence, hulking dragur and plague doctor, this 20% does not increase the max stat mundai either, so mage, tower and lord.
