Rewards are to worth the effort for going there in my opinion.

    Don't like PVP in general
I hate PVP completely. I try to go to cyrodil and imperial city when few people are online and all i want there are the sky shards.

Since the event is going on i check to see who's holding the center bathroom and log in with a toon from that alliance and have tried to work with who ever is there for the million gold skin changer thing but so far all i got were 3 scamps and lost a lot of telvar in the process

Grinding anything is boring and telvar is the only thing you grind that you can lose to a pack of nbs or a giant zerg.

It's just a waste of time down there

    Don't like loving Telvar
Don't like losing what I've been working for when I get steamrolled by other players.

For the reason above, don't like having that constant ominous feeling that I'm one breath away from going to be curbstomped by other players and must sneak around all the time even if I'm on a mag sorc and only there to open a couple of vaults.

Don't like not being able to quickly sell all the things I've gathered and being forced to send dozens of return mails back OR have to drop what I'm doing to scurry back to the base to vendor the loot every 30 mins or so. I don't like leaving loot behind, not even a lockpick or a Foul Hide. The banker I understand not being able to use, because it's tied to the death/theft mechanic. But the merchant? What's the reason? Can we somehow use her as a meat shield against gankers or something that makes using her unfair??

Don't like that I have to queue for Cyro when I have no intention of being in Cyro, and have to cross a minefield of gankers to even reach the sewers if it's one of the peak hours.

Don't like that if I am casually looking for chests or quests or open my map to check something and suddenly I have a boss chasing me, a boss I'm not built to fight, a boss I have no intention of battling, a boss that will stick to my backside even if I run to Oblivion and back, and it generally ends up with me being dead or ganked and losing my stuff.

Don't like that we are encouraged to get a group for Molag Bal, but then discouraged by only having 12 people get any loot. Just give loot to everyone already. It's not like a key shard and 2 Alkahest are gonna break the economy anyway.

Don't like that when I have several thousand key shards and enter ONE vault, they all get converted to that key and won't work anywhere else anymore. Forces players to either run to the base/bank a dozen times between opening a chest and grabbing 60 more keys or having a friend hold your stuff while you go in and hand you 60 keys at a time/bounce emails with 60 keys each so we don't waste the shards.

These are my reasons for not stepping foot on IC even though it was the very first DLC I ever bought.

Or keep your keys on different characters...and bring in that character to the vault that you want to open that particular chest...

The rewards, AP, Tel-var, etc, are simply not worth the effort and time wasted in IC. I could be in Cryodiil or PvE Tamrial having a better, more fun and more profitable time.

You know you can do short circuits in the sewers, right? I go out with 1k tel var max. Do a quick loop until I’m around 2k or so, dump the extra 1k in my bank, sell trash loot at the merchant, and head out again. If I get ganked, I’m losing 1k tel var at the most. It doesn’t take long to accrue thousands of tel var if you pick a short route and bank regularly.

If you’re farming with 10k+, you’re taking a big risk.

It takes all of 1 hour to get enough Alchemy mats to be fine for a week, especially during this event that throws Tel Var at you by the handful. I've made over 200k Tel Var with casual farming, which equates to about 134 Alchemy satchels, more than enough to tide over my alchemical needs for a good while. It's great if you're looking to sell mats, but it's not much incentive to constantly go into IC unless you're desperate for gold.

it's amazing to read so many comments speaking towards the fear of losing to other players...

maybe 5 to 10% of the regular pvp player base are elite players...

the vast majority of us are very aware that any 1v1, small scale, and, even large scale could very well end in our demise...

I get it though - lot less chance of "losing" in pve...

and, when the losing happens it's to some pixelated code character...

not to another sentient being on the other side of the server...

I hate PvP for the same reasons already cited above by others. So I simply don't go to IC or to Cyrodull. Although it would be nice to get all the dolmens and skyshards there, it's simply not worth it to me. So I stay the heck away.

I've spent about 2 hours per night in IC since the beginning of the event...

I've made over a 100k tel var and lost about 5k stones to players and npcs (if you accidentally bump into one of them - those banner bosses in the sewers will track you down for ever)...

i am not an elite player...most definitely not :p

I've played on all three alliances...i have a bunch of different characters whom have completed the main IC quest (sublime brazier), all playing on our most populous map (vivec) for ps4/na...

I've spent most of my time in the districts and have had a grand total of 3 1v1's the whole time (about 16 hours or so)...

lost two - one was on a red magplar and wasn't able to defeat some yellow sorc's shields, the other was on my yellow mag sorc and lost to a blue stam dk whom dizzying swinged me to death (I was in the sewers and wanted to go back to the base, so, it was partly a bloodport :#)...and I won once with my blue magblade (i actually cloaked away and they died to the npcs :o )...

all the other fights have been for flags and involved multiple players on each side...

a lot of you all are seeing ghosts out there...just sayin :)

If an event is not going on, it's usually either dead or dominated by one faction. Either way, it doesn't make for a fun time, and makes me hesitant to ride all that way and go through the loading screen to just 'port back out.

I play mostly solo, both in PvE and PvP. I actually like the sewers and the way they play.

I usually stay away from other players though, i find it more challenging to solo the bosses down there than beating up on another player and as such i tend to avoid the "events".

Funny thing is, i had numerous encounters with players from other factions where we just mutually ignored each other and on some occasions even team up (so to speak) to tackle a boss together.

Reminds me of that one time we had a very large 3 faction zerg doing skyshard runs in Cyrodiil, that confused the heck out of everyone, especially they guys who attacked us.

I don’t get how it’s related. I have truckloads of alchemy materials. Just pick as you go and when you turn around you have over 1k of everything including columbine.

Also, I don’t play to be frustrated. I understand how suspense and hyper vigilance is “fun” for some people but I live that every time I go outside, don’t need it in my entertainment.
