I read the whole thing no worries. It‘s basically the same points that are in literally every single „buff mag sorc“, „nerf stam (nb)“, „listen to me and not to them ZoS“ thread.
ZOS... STOP listening to the casual players that play maybe 20 hours a week. Listen to the players that play the 60+ hours a week, or the players that are actual skilled veterans. They will be the ones who know what needs to change because they actually have the EXPERIENCE of seeing and playing with / around such sets, skills, classes etc.
Sh*t like this is why ESO will be dead when the new big titles come out such as Halo, CoD BO4, Bf5, AOC, Crowfall, RDR2 etc.
good job on killing your game ?? Gotta at least give you guys the “best worst company” award. If you put a little more effort into your game and actually listen to people who know what they’re talking about, the games I’ve mentioned wouldn’t be such a huge issue with competition.
The players that actually know how to play are pissed that shields are getting a nerf / counter play when they’ve already gotten a nerf a while back and already have a HUGE counter play to it.

Everything you say is invalidated by your attitude.
I’ve just left the parts that actually say why you should be ignored.
You open by saying those that know how to play are annyed, implying anyone that doesn’t agree doesn’t know how to play. Wrong, just wrong.
You even go as far as the second paragraph. Where you say people playing less than 20 hours a week should be ignored as they are casual. 20 hours a week is not casual.
You say only listen to those that play 60 hours a week? Rofl. Your the teeny tiny minority. You don’t pay the bills, you cost companies money.
What they should do with anyone that play 60 hours a week is laugh at how ludicrous they are.
Most jobs are 35 hours a week.
You play the game for longer than they spend in work being paid to work on it.
Nothing should ever be balanced around that level of play.
Balance should always be around the average player, not 60 hour a week saddo’s.

And I’ve given 2 examples. “Listen to the players that play the 60+ hours a week, or the players that are actual skilled veterans”
Just about ever competent and skilled / knowledgeable PvPer knows that a nerf to shields is the worst idea. As shields are already very counterable.
Most people saying that sorcs are to op and shields are broken are the same people who don’t even put 10 hours a week in.
And yes , 20 hours a week is very casual.
That’s about 2.5hours a day. Very very casual.
Am I the only one that thinks shields are a terrible defense? I mean how big is a hardened ward in PvP on a well built toon? 10-12k?

That’s about 2.5hours a day. Very very casual.
Maths is not your strong suit. It’s practically 3 hours a day. 3 that is significant. Anyone spending 3 hours a day doing the same thing is putting serious investment into it.
60 hours a week is 5 days of 12 hours a day. That’s insane. You can’t have a job or family if you do that. A game should never require letting the rest of your life fail.
The whole debate of what is casual has long ran in MMO’s. So dont claim any set hours is casual.
Your either trolling or so out of touch with reality that you need help.
2.5 hours a day is very very casual lol. If you honestly think that, all you will get from me is sympathy.

A lot of the players that know the game inside and out like they created put a whole lot of hours into it a week. Or at least one point of there life they have. Me personally I play about 6 hours a day. 8-10 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
All of it being in PvP.
But I’ve also been playing since beta. A lot of the people who get 2-3 hours a day that I know of either
A) arnt veterans.arnt experienced in the game / new.
C) arnt knowledgeable of the game.
Most people that hardly play fit into one of those 3 category’s.
The people that Ik of that can put 60 hours a week into the game are someone of the most knowledgeable players of the game I know of. They know the mechanics inside and out , they know the life as if they have thousands of hours on each class. They know how each skill and passive works etc.
Players like that are who ZOS needs to listen too. Not the casual players who only know 1 class and a certain set of skills or mechanics.
Sorry, but casuals just don’t and won’t provide as much feedback / reliable feedback as someone who practically plays this game for a living. Which a good handful of people do.
Time spent in the game doesn‘t automatically equal knowledge about the game tbh
Your attitude stinks, no wonder no one takes your post serious.

You joined these forums a whole 6 months ago so you clearly know everything.
When do we get the patch notes, Monday? Going to be a fun day on the forums when they drop.

Ahh sorry, didn’t know that I had to be on the forums to know everything.
Personally I learned a lot in the 4 and a half years of gameplay I have in ESO.
You don’t learn much from reading about a video game buddy , you learn more from experiencing it yourself
