PvP Campaign reset - when do scores update?

I was led to beleive that when a campaign resets, AP after that minute goes to the new campaign, even if leaderboards arent up.

However on a few resets recently i've seen AP go missing. i.e a player earns 30k AP in the first 30 minutes, but when leaderboard scores come up, only 10K has registered.

ITs all relative, the person has still been leading - however I want to ask if anyone has a definitive answer on WHEN AP starts counting to the new campaign.

Got emp 20 mins after leaderboard opened once.

There is a period of time (about an hour) inbetween campaigns. During this time, there is no leaderboard and AP earned during this time does not count towards the new campaign. This is obvious from the campaign scoring screen (states sth. like 'new campaign starts in 1h'), at least on PC.

i'm unsure we get that on Xbox. We see the time tick down, then campaign ended.

Then it starts and its 7 day / 30 days remaining.

Sometimes as the leaderboard comes up it has part scores on it that were earned in that period

It would be really helpful to know the timings of this @ZOS_BrianWheeler - how long is the 'downtime' period where AP counts to neither campaign

Can anyone confirm the exact timings on this? where AP goes into a black hole? as it feels closer to 30 minutes.

Also why console doenst get the countdown TO next campaign. We get 'done' then 'started 30/7 days to go' (unless i've missed it!)

and that the same for 7 day and 30 day? bang on 30 minutes it starts counting then I guess the next tick after earning AP it shows up.

nice work in 20 mins!!! 50k AP the minimum right? i'm guessing it was just one keep to flip?

Had 3 to flip, quests to hand in, kills and lots of rep, was about 2am so quite empty. To be honest might have been closer to 30 mins but it was funny.

Its same for 7 and 30 day.

50k is indeed the minimum, the ring may be taken before anyone reaches 50k and then its a rep/tick chase race.

Thanks @raviour thats interesting on the last point, so if ring flips sub 50K, and the leader pushes past it they become Emp does that mean? TIL if so!! I thought a reflip was needed!!

So if Campaign ends 14:30, we time the push to start earning 15:00 next time!

@Beardimus yes, when we got the last fort in the ring I was on 40k and the dude chasing was on 35k. I hit 50k 1st and was crowned while repairing Glade lumber tower on a red, was quite surreal

and yeah a lot of people make the mistake of turning in quests and farm directly after close then wonder why...
